LifeGrip Stay on Track anti-slip tape 4 in x 60 ft Black — 80-grit waterproof heavy-duty stair grip

This durable non-skid tape combines a high-tensile PET backing, an aggressive acrylic adhesive and a hypo-allergenic 80-grit aluminum oxide surface to deliver long-lasting traction for indoor and outdoor applications. Engineered to withstand extreme temperatures and heavy foot traffic, it protects walkways and high-use areas without damaging the underlying surface when removed properly.

How does this tape perform in wet or extreme weather conditions?

The PET base resists cracking and deterioration from cold or heat, and the waterproof acrylic adhesive maintains a secure bond even when exposed to rain, snow, or sun. This makes it suitable for year-round outdoor use on decks, stairways and ramps.

• Temperature tolerance: -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F).
• Waterproof adhesive stays effective in wet conditions.
• UV-resistant PET backing that does not peel or flake easily.

Will this grip tape damage my floors or surfaces on removal?

LifeGrip's PET tape uses a removable-friendly acrylic adhesive formulated to provide a strong, waterproof hold while minimizing residue and surface damage when removed correctly. Proper removal technique helps preserve paint, tile, and other smooth finishes.

• Designed for smooth surfaces: concrete, metal, wood, tile, stone, laminate and plastic.
• Remove slowly at a low angle to reduce adhesive transfer.
• Test a small hidden area first when applying to delicate finishes.

How much traction does the 80-grit surface give, and is it comfortable to walk on?

The 80-grit aluminum oxide top layer provides pronounced traction to reduce slips while maintaining a surface that won't feel overly abrasive under normal footwear. It balances safety and comfort for family, elderly users and pets in high-traffic zones.

• Hypo-allergenic grain for reduced skin irritation compared to harsher alternatives.
• Subtle texture that improves grip without sticking to shoes or clothing.
• Suitable for frequent foot traffic including children and seniors.

How large is the roll and what projects is it best for?

This product comes as a 4-inch wide by 60-foot long roll, which covers multiple stair treads, ramps or long sections of flooring. The 4" width is a common size for stair nosing and step edges, offering ample coverage for both residential and commercial needs.

• 4" width fits most stair treads and step edges without trimming.
• 60' length lets you outfit numerous steps, ladders or a long walkway from one roll.
• Can be trimmed with scissors or a utility knife for custom shapes.
