LIBRATON Rubber Strap Wrench Set — 2PCS Adjustable Oil & Jar Filter Wrenches, Small + Large, Locking Handles

LIBRATON 2PCS Strap Wrench Set is a pair of adjustable rubber strap wrenches designed to grip and turn awkward cylindrical items—like oil filters, water filters, and jar lids—without scratching surfaces.

These two versatile strap wrenches combine reinforced rubber straps with locking handles so you can get a strong, non-marring grip on circular parts of many sizes. One wrench covers small-to-medium diameters while the other handles larger cups and housings; both use a rotating lock on the handle to tension the strap quickly and hold it in place during use. The straps are industrial-grade for durability and flexibility, and arrow marks on the handles show the recommended rotation direction for loosening or tightening.

How do the two sizes cover common jobs around the home or shop?

The set includes a small and a large strap wrench to tackle a wide range of diameters. The small wrench fits tighter fittings and compact filters, while the large wrench handles bigger housings, jar lids, and larger filter canisters.

• Small wrench: adjustable 10mm (0.39") to 100mm (4") with 3mm strap thickness — ideal for spark plugs, bicycle parts, and small filters.
• Large wrench: adjustable 38mm (1.5") to 150mm (6") with 5mm strap thickness — fits oil filters, water filter housings, and large jars.
• Both tools compress the strap around irregular shapes for reliable grip without marring.

What makes the strap material and handle locking reliable?

Straps are made from reinforced, industrial-grade rubber to resist tearing and provide strong friction on different surfaces. A built-in locking function on each handle lets you rotate to tension and lock the strap, keeping it secure while you turn the assembly.

• Reinforced rubber resists wear and conforms to curves for a broad contact area.
• Locking handle lets you set tension quickly and keep the strap engaged during removal.
• Arrow indicators on both sides of the handle clarify loosening vs. tightening direction.

Which tasks are best for a strap wrench and what should I avoid?

Strap wrenches excel at removing or installing rounded, smooth, or irregular parts when you need a non-damaging grip. They work well on oil filters, water and fuel filter housings, jar lids, pipe fittings, and more, but may struggle on extremely smooth chrome-plated faucets or shower heads where strap traction is limited.

• Good uses: oil filters, jar openers, water filter housings, fuel filter fittings, tubing joints.
• Use tip: center the strap on a lid or housing to avoid slipping and prevent contact with glass jars.
• Limitations: very smooth, slippery metal surfaces may reduce grip effectiveness.

How do I care for these wrenches and reduce the rubber smell?

The straps are made from durable industrial rubber, which may have an initial odor. That smell is non-toxic and will fade with exposure to air and light; washing the strap with mild soap and allowing it to air dry can accelerate the process. Store the wrenches away from direct sunlight and extreme heat to prolong strap life.

• Air out and hand-wash straps if smell is strong; odor dissipates naturally over time.
• Avoid sharp edges and solvents that can damage rubber; keep tools dry between uses.
• Contact customer support if you encounter defects or performance issues—response within 24 hours.
