Levoit Vital 100 Replacement Filters 2-Pack — Genuine HEPA & Activated Carbon for Smoke, Odors, Allergens

Genuine Levoit Vital 100 replacement filters are a 3-in-1, AHAM Verifide filter set (pre-filter, true HEPA, activated carbon) designed to remove ultrafine particles, odors, and common household contaminants.

Keep your Vital 100 air purifier operating at peak efficiency with authentic replacement cartridges engineered for that model. Each pack contains two genuine filters that fit the Vital100 series, using a washable pre-filter, a high-efficiency HEPA layer that captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 μm, and a dense activated carbon layer to reduce smoke, cooking smells, and volatile organic compounds. These filters are AHAM Verifide to confirm performance and are made with responsibly sourced activated carbon.

How often should I replace the Vital 100 filter?

Levoit recommends swapping the filter every 6–8 months under normal household use. Frequency increases if you have pets, smoke indoors, or frequently cook; heavy pollution or wildfire smoke also shortens filter life.

• Typical replacement cycle: 6–8 months for average homes.
• High-usage homes (pets/smokers): consider replacing every 3–4 months.
• Use the purifier’s filter life indicator—works only with genuine Levoit filters.

What does the three-stage filtration actually remove?

The system layers capture progressively smaller and different types of contaminants: the washable pre-filter catches hair and large dust; the true HEPA filter removes ultrafine particles like pollen, mold spores, and fine dust; and the activated carbon layer adsorbs gases, odors, and smoke.

• Pre-filter: visible debris, pet hair, lint, large dust.
• True HEPA: 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 μm (pollen, allergens).
• Activated carbon: reduces odors from cooking, smoking, and VOCs.

Will using genuine Levoit filters make a measurable difference?

Yes—authentic filters ensure the purifier’s sensors and algorithms communicate correctly and that the filter life indicator is accurate. Non-genuine filters can impair performance, cause delayed replacement alerts, and in some cases affect motor longevity.

• AHAM Verifide testing confirms certified filtration performance.
• Filter life indicator compatibility only guaranteed with Levoit originals.
• Designed to maintain airflow and protect the purifier motor.

Can I wash the filter and reuse it?

The outer pre-filter is washable to extend the cartridge’s service life, but the main HEPA and activated carbon layers are not washable and must be replaced when worn. Always remove plastic packaging before first install and follow Levoit’s care instructions.

• Wash only the removable pre-filter; air dry completely before reinstalling.
• Do not wet the HEPA or carbon layers; replace whole cartridge when ineffective.
• Lifetime customer support available for installation and care questions.
