Leviton 1-Gang Decora Wallplate, White 20-Pack — Midway Size Thermoset for Extra Coverage

Leviton 80601-W is a midway-size, 1-gang Decora-style thermoset wallplate in white, offered in a 20-pack to provide durable, wider coverage for outlets and switches.

These Decora wallplates are designed to give a finished look while covering larger cutouts or slight wall imperfections. Made from a thermoset material engineered for high dielectric strength and arc resistance, the plates resist fading, grease, oils, solvents, moisture and scratches. Their smooth face and rounded edges make them easy to clean and keep dust from accumulating, so they remain a clean, coordinated detail in busy rooms and high-traffic spaces.

How does the midway size help with installation and appearance?

The midway dimension is 0.375 inches taller and wider than a standard wallplate, which helps conceal larger outlet boxes and minor drywall flaws without replacing the electrical box. That extra coverage creates a neater border around switches and outlets for a more intentional, professional finish.

• 0.375" taller and wider than standard plates for increased coverage
• Hides wall surface irregularities and larger-volume outlet boxes
• Single-gang profile fits Decora-style rocker switches and rectangular devices

Will these wallplates withstand everyday wear and cleaning?

Yes — the thermoset construction and smooth face are built to tolerate frequent use and routine cleaning. They resist common household agents that cause discoloration or degradation, maintaining a consistent appearance over time.

• High dielectric strength and arc resistance for safety and longevity
• Resistant to fading, discoloration, grease, oil and organic solvents
• Smooth, rounded edges reduce dust buildup and make wiping simple

Are these wallplates compatible with my switches and wiring setup?

These Decora-size plates are intended for rectangular rocker switches and Decora-style devices, fitting typical single-gang installations. They mount using the device itself for a device-mounted installation and accommodate standard single-gang outlet boxes with extra coverage when needed.

• Device-mounted installation for Decora rocker switches and similar devices
• Single-gang form factor matches standard Decora cutouts and devices
• Works with larger or deeper boxes thanks to midway dimensions

What makes Leviton’s thermoset material a good choice?

Leviton thermoset offers a balance of durability, electrical safety, and stable appearance. It’s formulated to resist heat, electrical stress, and everyday chemicals, so it stays functional and attractive through heavy use.

• Thermoset composition provides high dielectric strength and arc resistance
• Formulation resists moisture, scratches, and common household chemicals
• Color stability helps maintain a consistent look over time
