LEGO Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock Mech Battle Building Set — 315 Pieces, 3 Minifigures, Poseable Mechs (Red/Black Spider-Man)

The LEGO Marvel Mech Battle: Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock (76338) is a 315-piece build-and-battle playset that includes two fully poseable mechs and three minifigures for imaginative Super Hero showdowns.

This set pairs classic LEGO building with Marvel action: kids assemble an Iron Spider–style mech and a Doc Ock mech, then stage fights using stud shooters, articulated tentacles, web ropes and Ghost-Spider’s slings. Clear moving parts and an opening cockpit let young builders animate their minifigures, while the LEGO Builder app offers 3D instructions to support independent construction and replay.

What comes in the box and which characters are included?

Inside you’ll find 315 pieces that build two mechs plus three LEGO Marvel minifigures — Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider and Doc Ock — so kids can jump straight into role-play. The pack includes small play accessories like web ropes and slings to expand action possibilities.

• 315 total pieces for multi-part construction
• Three minifigures: Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, Doc Ock
• Accessories: two web ropes and Ghost-Spider’s slings
• Opening cockpits and interactive elements for each mech

How do the mechs move and what play features do they offer?

Both mechs are built with multiple joints to pose arms, legs and torsos, letting kids create dynamic scenes. The Spider-Man mech has two button-operated stud shooters for play-attacks, while Doc Ock’s mech includes four fully articulated tentacles for dramatic grabs and strikes.

• Posable joints for realistic posing and display
• Spider-Man mech: 2 button-fired stud shooters
• Doc Ock mech: 4 articulated tentacles for grabbing actions
• Opening cockpits to seat minifigures securely

How can the LEGO Builder app help younger builders?

The free LEGO Builder app adds step-by-step 3D instructions, allowing kids to zoom, rotate and track progress as they build each mech. This digital guidance encourages independent learning and makes construction less intimidating for first-time builders.

• 3D, zoomable instructions for clearer part placement
• Progress tracking to pick up where you left off
• Interactive viewing to preview finished poses and details

What size is the finished Spider-Man mech and where does this set fit in playtime?

The completed Spider-Man mech stands over 5 inches (approx. 13 cm) tall, a compact display size that still supports theatrical battles and shelf display. Because both mechs are fully jointed and include storage-friendly pieces, the set works equally well for quick play sessions or longer storytelling adventures.

• Spider-Man mech height: over 5 in / 13 cm
• Compact footprint for tabletop battles or shelf display
• Durable LEGO parts built for repeated play
