LEDVANCE Sylvania A19 LED Bulb 60W Equivalent — 2700K Soft White, 8.5W, Frosted (Pack of 24)

These SYLVANIA A19 LED lamps (8.5 watts) replace traditional 60W incandescent bulbs while using far less electricity. Each frosted bulb produces 800 lumens of consistent soft white illumination, instant-on brightness, and an expected lifespan that reduces the need for frequent swaps. The bulbs are mercury- and lead-free and emit no ultraviolet or infrared radiation, making them suitable for most open home fixtures.

How bright are these bulbs and what color temperature should I expect?

Each bulb puts out roughly 800 lumens, matching the light output you would expect from a 60W incandescent. The color temperature is 2700K, described as soft white — warm and slightly yellow, comfortable for living spaces.

• 800 lumens per bulb for general room illumination
• 2700K soft white gives warm, inviting light
• Frosted finish reduces glare and diffuses light evenly

How energy efficient and long-lasting are these SYLVANIA LEDs?

These A19 LEDs use just 8.5 watts, which can cut energy use dramatically compared with 60W incandescents. With an estimated life measured in thousands of hours, they reduce replacement frequency and operating cost over time.

• 8.5W power consumption for lower electricity use
• Estimated life up to about 11,000 hours, minimizing replacements
• Instant full brightness—no warm-up required

Where can I safely install these bulbs and which fixtures should I avoid?

These A19 bulbs are designed for general-purpose indoor lighting such as ceiling fixtures, table lamps, and floor lamps. They are not rated for fully enclosed fixtures, so avoid installations where heat cannot escape.

• Works well in open ceiling fixtures, pendant lights, lamps, and sconces
• Not recommended for fully enclosed luminaires that trap heat
• Not suitable for fixtures requiring special dimming or specialty bases

Are these bulbs safe and environmentally friendly?

SYLVANIA LED bulbs are free of mercury and lead and do not emit UV or IR radiation, making them a safer alternative to some older lamp technologies. They run cooler than incandescent bulbs, reducing heat buildup in the fixture and the room.

• Mercury- and lead-free construction
• No UV or infrared emissions
• Lower operating temperature than incandescent bulbs
