Leatherman Premium Nylon Sheath for 3.25–4.5in Multi-Tools, Medium Black — Ballistic Nylon, Snap Closure

Leatherman's Medium Premium Nylon Sheath is a rugged black belt pouch that protects and carries full-size 3.25–4.5 inch Leatherman multi-tools like the Wave and Skeletool.

This sheath is built to be a durable, everyday home for your Leatherman. Constructed from ballistic nylon with reinforced stitching and a metal rivet snap, it resists wear while keeping tools safe from scratches, dings and incidental drops. Designed to accept a tool stored open or closed, the Medium size balances compact carry with quick access for work or outdoor use.

How tough is the Material and construction?

The build focuses on longevity and field resilience. Ballistic nylon resists abrasion and moisture better than standard fabric, while reinforced seams and a high-grade metal rivet snap secure the tool during heavy use.

• Durable ballistic nylon exterior for abrasion resistance
• Reinforced stitching at stress points to prevent tearing
• Metal rivet snap for reliable closure under load

Which Leatherman tools fit this Medium sheath?

This Medium size is intended for full-size models that measure roughly 3.25 to 4.5 inches closed. It suits everyday workhorses without being bulky, and it accommodates a tool stored open if you prefer to carry it ready-to-use.

• Fits models such as Wave and Skeletool and similar-sized multi-tools
• Designed for 3.25"–4.5" closed-length tools
• Can hold tools in open position for immediate access

How can I carry and access my multi-tool?

Carry options focus on convenience and stability. The pouch mounts upright on a belt for secure, hands-free transport, while the snap keeps the tool in place yet reachable with one hand when you need it.

• Wear upright on standard belts for balanced carry
• Snap closure provides quick one-handed access
• Works with tools left open so they’re ready for immediate use

Will it protect my tool from daily damage?

Yes—the sheath creates a barrier against everyday hazards that cause cosmetic and functional wear. It minimizes contact with hard surfaces, reduces the risk of scuffs, and prevents loose-pocket impacts when worn on the belt.

• Covers blades and metal surfaces to reduce scratches and scuffs
• Prevents accidental drops from belt carry and tool jostling
• Helps keep moving parts cleaner by blocking dirt and debris

Who this is for: This Medium Leatherman Premium Nylon Sheath is a practical choice for tradespeople, outdoor enthusiasts and everyday carry users who own full-size Leatherman multi-tools and want a reliable, low-profile protective carrier. It’s suited to anyone who needs a balance of toughness, fast access and the option to carry a tool open or closed without bulk.
