LeapFrog Pick Up and Count Vacuum Toy, Pink — Interactive Push-Along with Counting & Color Lights

The LeapFrog Pick Up and Count Vacuum is a push-along pretend vacuum that recognizes and counts ten colorful dust pieces while teaching colors and numbers through playful audio and lights.

This interactive pink vacuum turns tidy-up time into an active learning session. As a child pushes the toy over the included play dust pieces, the vacuum detects each piece by color, announces that color, and counts pieces to reinforce early number skills. Designed with adjustable handle heights and a clear canister with bouncing balls, the toy blends physical play, sensory feedback, and six simple learning games to keep toddlers engaged while they practice gross motor coordination, color recognition, and counting.

How does the vacuum teach counting and numbers?

Count learning is delivered through spoken prompts and a visual counter as pieces are picked up. The toy offers multiple game modes that guide a child through identifying numbers and tallying collected pieces, making repetition feel like play rather than instruction.

• Audio counting that increments when each dust piece is collected
• Number-focused game mode with spoken prompts and encouragement
• Light-up panels that reinforce the numeric sequence visually
• Storage bin that shows the child how many pieces are inside

What learning happens around colors and recognition?

Each dust piece has a distinct color the vacuum recognizes and names out loud. Light panels match the color of the picked piece, and extra sound effects help cement color-word association during repeated play.

• Five light-up panels that correspond to colors as pieces are collected
• Color mode that asks children to find or identify a specific color
• Immediate spoken color feedback to strengthen recall
• Visual canister with bouncing balls to maintain attention

Is the vacuum durable and easy for toddlers to use?

The Pick Up and Count Vacuum is built for toddler play with a tiltable handle and wide base for stable pushing. All ten dust pieces store inside the back dust bin so cleanup is straightforward and the parts stay together between sessions.

• Tiltable handle adjusts to multiple heights to suit growing children
• Compact dust bin stores all ten pieces for tidy storage
• Sturdy wheels and low profile for smooth rolling on playroom floors
• Battery-powered audio and lights; demo batteries included

What should caregivers know about setup and safety?

Setup is minimal: install four AA batteries and place the dust pieces on the floor for immediate play. The toy is intended for ages 2 and up; small parts are contained during play, but adult supervision is recommended for younger toddlers.

• Requires 4 AA batteries (demo batteries included; fresh batteries recommended)
• Product dimensions: 24.3" x 6.6" x 7.5" for easy storage
• Intended for children aged 2 years and older
• Simple on/off control and mode selector for caregiver ease

Who is this for: Families and caregivers seeking a hands-on educational toy for toddlers who are beginning to talk, walk, and count will find this vacuum especially useful. It suits children who enjoy active pretend play, benefit from auditory and visual reinforcement, and like toys that combine movement with learning. The adjustable handle and contained parts make it a practical choice for daycare settings, preschool classrooms, and home playrooms where repetition and interaction help build early numeracy and color recognition.
