LAMIT Olive Green Velvet Curtains 84" Length — 2 Panels, 200g Heavyweight Velvet for Light Reduction & Insulation

LAMIT Olive Green Velvet Curtains are a set of two 84-inch panels made from heavyweight 200g velvet that provides elegant drape, 65–80% light reduction, and improved privacy and insulation.

These olive green velvet drapes pair a plush, textured look with practical blackout and thermal performance. Each package contains two generous panels (52" wide x 84" long per panel) finished with five back tabs and three rod pockets to fit most standard curtain rods. The dense weave creates a soft ambient glow rather than full darkness, making these curtains a versatile choice for living rooms, bedrooms, nurseries, and home theaters seeking both style and function.

How much sunlight will these curtains block?

The LAMIT velvet panels provide substantial light reduction—typically blocking about 65–80% of incoming sunlight, with darker tones performing closer to the upper range. They create a dim, comfortable interior without producing total blackout, preserving a warm ambient light when desired.

• Blocks 65–80% of sunlight (dark colors block more)
• Soft ambient glow remains—not full blackout
• Reduces glare for screens and daytime naps
• Helps protect furnishings from UV fading

Do these curtains help with energy savings and noise reduction?

The thick thermal velvet reduces heat transfer through windows, helping to keep rooms cooler in summer and retain warmth in winter. The dense fabric also dampens outside noise slightly, contributing to a quieter, more comfortable living space.

• High-density 200g velvet improves insulation
• Reflects sunlight to lower cooling demand
• Traps indoor warmth to reduce heating needs
• Offers modest sound-dampening for everyday noise

What are the installation and care details I should know?

Each panel is 52" wide by 84" long and finished with five back tabs plus three rod pockets, so you can hang them on most standard rods for a tailored or gathered look. Care is simple—machine wash or dry clean, and any wrinkles can be smoothed by ironing on the reverse side at low heat.

• Panel size: 52 inches wide x 84 inches long each
• Hanging options: 5 back tabs and 3 rod pockets per panel
• Cleaning: machine washable and dry-clean friendly
• Low-heat ironing on reverse to remove wrinkles

Will these curtains suit my decor and different window types?

The rich olive green velvet offers a refined, versatile color that pairs well with modern, classic, and minimalist interiors. They work equally well on bay windows, sliding glass doors, French doors, and standard windows, adding texture and a curated look without overwhelming the room.

• Color: deep olive green for warm, sophisticated styling
• Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, and nurseries
• Suitable for bay windows, sliding doors, and standard windows
• Pairs with neutral, earth-tone, or jewel-toned palettes

Who is this for: These curtains are intended for anyone seeking a balance of luxury and practicality—homeowners or renters who want a plush, high-quality drape that improves privacy, reduces glare, and enhances energy efficiency without creating complete darkness. They are a good fit for living rooms and bedrooms where style, texture, and moderate blackout performance matter. If you prefer total blackout, consider pairing these panels with a blackout liner or heavier backing.
