KONG FlexBall Extra-Large Floating Fetch Ball for Dogs, Buoyant with Squeaker and Gripped Ridges

The KONG FlexBall is an extra-large, buoyant fetch ball built with gripped ridges, a lively bounce and a squeaker to keep large dogs engaged during land and water play.

Designed for energetic, big-breed players, this FlexBall combines a resilient swirled material with raised ridges for easy pickup and secure throws. It’s engineered to float, so lake and pool games stay in play, and its weight and rebound encourage longer chases without being too heavy on teeth or jaws. The integrated squeaker adds an extra layer of interest to stimulate hunting and retrieval instincts without relying on fragile components.

How does the FlexBall make fetch sessions easier for extra-large dogs?

The ball’s deep ridges are sculpted to match a large dog’s bite and tongue, so they can grasp and return it more confidently. Its size and weight are balanced for powerful throws yet manageable for strong jaws.

• Extra-large diameter suited to big-breed mouths
• Raised ridges provide reliable traction for gripping
• Perfect throw weight for distance without being cumbersome
• Squeaker keeps interest high during repetitive play

Will this ball survive rough play and outdoor conditions?

The FlexBall is made from a durable, swirled compound that resists tearing under energetic play, though it’s not intended as a chew-toy substitute. Its construction tolerates scrapes and impacts common in park and backyard games.

• Resilient swirled material reduces splitting and abrasions
• Designed for fetching and bouncing, not prolonged chewing
• Holds up to repeated throws and hard landings
• Squeaker recessed to minimize accidental damage

Can I use the FlexBall in water, and how does it perform?

The ball floats reliably, making it suitable for lake, pond and pool retrievals. Its buoyancy and visibility let dogs find and carry it back with minimal swallowing or submerging, extending play into aquatic environments.

• Positive buoyancy for water-safe fetching
• Bright swirled color improves visibility on water surfaces
• Ridges shed water for easier gripping when wet
• Durable against exposure to sun and splash play

How does the FlexBall encourage active, engaging play?

The ball’s lively rebound creates unpredictable bounces that entice dogs to chase and think, while the squeaker provides short, attention-grabbing noises that reward retrieval attempts. Together they sustain interest for longer sessions.

• Dynamic bounce creates varied trajectories and excitement
• Squeaker delivers intermittent stimulation without constant noise
• Grip-friendly ridges speed up pickup and return rates
• Weight and size tuned for extra-large breed activity

Who is this for? The KONG FlexBall extra-large is for owners of large and extra-large dogs who want a robust, water-safe fetch toy that’s optimized for gripping and dynamic play. It’s ideal for active owners who play at parks, beaches or pools and need a ball sized and weighted for strong jaws without encouraging destructive chewing. If your dog loves chasing, retrieving and splashing, the FlexBall offers a durable, engaging option to extend outdoor playtime.
