KOMASTY Cordless String Trimmer 12" 20V — 2×2.0Ah Batteries, Auto Line Feed, Foldable Shaft

The KOMASTY 20V Electric Weed Wacker is a cordless 12" string trimmer and edger kit with two 2.0Ah batteries, an auto line-feed system, and a foldable shaft for compact storage.

This battery-powered grass cutter pairs a high-speed 9,500 RPM motor with a 12-inch cutting swath to tackle overgrown grass and tidy lawn edges without the noise or fumes of gas tools. Designed for small yards, patios, and tight landscaping jobs, the KOMASTY cordless trimmer shifts between trimming and edging with a pivoting head and includes two rechargeable batteries so you can finish most routine jobs on a single charge.

How does the power and runtime compare to other cordless trimmers?

The KOMASTY unit uses a 20V motor spinning up to 9,500 RPM, delivering strong cutting performance for light to medium vegetation. Two included 2.0Ah batteries give up to about 30 minutes of combined runtime, suitable for small yards and quick cleanup tasks.

• 9,500 RPM motor for gas-like cutting on grass and weeds
• 12" cutting swath clears wider paths per pass
• Two 2.0Ah batteries for roughly 30 minutes of continuous work
• Charger included to recharge batteries between jobs

What makes trimming easier and faster with this tool?

The trimmer's auto line-feed system removes the need for manual bumping to advance line, so you keep working without interruptions. Ergonomic features like a 180° rotatable handle, a 90° adjustable head, and a lightweight design help you reach slopes and tight spots comfortably.

• Automatic line feed dispenses cord as needed
• 90° adjustable head for edging and under-ledge access
• 180° rotatable handle and foldable shaft for leverage and comfort
• Lightweight construction reduces fatigue during extended use

How does the foldable design benefit storage and transport?

The shaft folds 180° in multiple configurations so the trimmer becomes compact for vertical storage in closets, on apartment balconies, or in crowded garages. The compact form also makes it easier to carry to remote corners of the yard or transport in a car trunk.

• Shaft folds 180° in three ways to minimize footprint
• Vertical storage option saves space in tight areas
• Quick-release adjustments for fast set-up and breakdown
• Portable enough to move between storage and job site easily

What are the safety and maintenance considerations?

Safety features include a trigger safety lock and a simple restart procedure if line breaks: release the trigger, press the safety lock, then re-engage the switch. For best battery life, allow batteries to cool a few minutes after heavy use before recharging and follow manufacturer charging guidelines.

• Trigger safety lock prevents accidental starts
• Simple reset routine if the line snaps or jams
• Allow batteries to cool before recharging to prolong lifespan
• Regularly inspect and replace trimmer line for consistent performance

Who is this for: The KOMASTY 20V Cordless Weed Wacker is aimed at homeowners and renters with small yards, patios, and garden edges who want a quiet, portable, and easy-to-store alternative to gas trimmers. It suits users who need a versatile 2-in-1 trimmer/edger that’s lightweight enough for quick maintenance tasks and includes spare batteries so most routine jobs finish without interruption.
