Kohree RV Roof Tape 4in x 50ft White — Butyl Sealant, UV‑Resistant Weatherproof

Kohree RV Roof Tape is a 4-inch by 50-foot white, weatherproof butyl sealing tape designed to stop leaks and reinforce seams on RV roofs, windows, vents and body joints.

If you need a robust, easy-to-apply seal for camping vehicles and mobile homes, this Kohree tape offers a UV-resistant, moisture-blocking barrier that bonds to common roofing materials such as metal, EPDM, PVC, Hypalon and TPO. Its flexible, super-sticky butyl compound creates a self-priming, long-lasting seal that accommodates curves and corners—making it suitable for repairs and preventative maintenance on trailers, motorhomes, fifth wheels and vans.

How well will this tape hold up on an RV roof exposed to sun and rain?

The Kohree tape is formulated for outdoor exposure: its adhesive resists UV degradation, moisture intrusion and common corrosive elements so the seal lasts through variable weather. The butyl-based material remains flexible to handle thermal expansion and contraction without cracking.

• UV-resistant compound prevents breakdown from sunlight.
• Water-tight adhesive blocks rain and vapor entry.
• Corrosion-resistant surface suitable for coastal or harsh environments.
• Flexible to tolerate roof movement during temperature changes.

Can I use this tape on different materials and irregular surfaces?

Yes—Kohree RV Roof Tape bonds to a wide range of substrates commonly found on recreational vehicles and trailers. Its malleable profile and aggressive tack make it practical for flat panels, rounded edges, and tapered seams.

• Compatible with metal, EPDM, PVC, Hypalon and TPO roofing materials.
• Conforms to curves, corners, vents and window flanges.
• Works on both exterior roof surfaces and body joints for quick repairs.
• Peel-and-stick installation reduces need for special primers.

How do I apply and prepare the surface for best adhesion?

Clean, dry and degrease the area before application to achieve a consistent bond. Cut the tape to length, remove the liner, press firmly into place and roll or smooth to eliminate air pockets for a continuous seal.

• Remove dirt, old sealant and loose paint; dry completely.
• Measure and cut tape slightly longer than the gap or seam.
• Apply steady pressure and use a roller or firm hand smoothing.
• Trim excess and check edges after 24–48 hours of weather exposure.

Will this tape provide a long-term fix or just a temporary patch?

The tape is designed as a durable, long-lasting sealing solution thanks to its premium butyl formulation and weatherproof properties. It works well for permanent repairs as well as interim fixes when you need a fast, reliable barrier until more extensive maintenance can be done.

• Butyl compound supports extended service life under typical RV use.
• Resists breakdown from moisture and UV, reducing rework frequency.
• Suitable for long seams as well as spot repairs around fixtures.
• Can be layered or combined with other sealants for reinforcement.

Who is this for: Kohree RV Roof Tape is intended for RV owners, mobile-home maintenance technicians and DIY travelers who want a straightforward, high-adhesion product to seal leaks, reinforce seams, or protect vulnerable roof penetrations. It's a good fit for anyone maintaining campers, trailers, buses, Airstreams, fifth wheels and conversion vans who needs a flexible, weather-resistant sealing option without specialized tools.
