KLEIN TOOLS Insulated 8‑in‑1 Screwdriver Set, 1000V Orange Handle with 5 Interchangeable Blades

Klein Tools 32288 is an 8-in-1 insulated screwdriver set with a single cushioned handle, five insulated interchangeable blades, and a 1000-volt safety rating for electrical work. This compact toolkit combines the versatility of multiple tip types with the protection of industrial-grade insulation. The set includes Phillips, slotted and square (Robertson) slim-tip blades that lock into a single ergonomic handle via an auto-eject twist collar. Each blade and the handle are coated in bright orange insulation that meets or exceeds ASTM F1505 standards and is clearly marked with the 1000V symbol for easy identification on the job.

How does the interchangeable system speed up on-site work?

The quick-change mechanism lets you swap or flip blades with a simple twist of the lock collar, eliminating the need to carry several full-size screwdrivers. That saves time when moving between terminal blocks, panels, or control boxes where multiple tip types are required.

• Auto-eject lock collar for fast blade release and secure locking
• Five insulated blades cover common sizes, reducing tool changes
• Slim-tip blades access tight terminals and recessed fasteners

What tip sizes and types are included in the set?

The set provides a balanced mix of Phillips, slotted and square tips to handle most electrical and general maintenance fasteners. Tip sizes are chosen for common terminal and device screws so you can rely on the set for everyday service work.

• Phillips: two #2 and one #1
• Slotted: two 1/4" (6.35 mm) and one 3/16" (4.76 mm)
• Square (Robertson): one #1 and one #2

Are these screwdrivers safe for electrical applications?

Klein Tools designed the handle and blades with a continuous orange insulating layer that resists impact and flame. Every insulated component in this set meets or exceeds ASTM F1505 requirements and bears the official 1000-volt rating mark for visual confirmation of protection level.

• 1000V insulation rating, clearly marked on tools
• Impact- and flame-resistant orange insulation coating
• Meets or exceeds ASTM F1505 industry standard for insulated hand tools

What ergonomic or durability features help during long jobs?

The handle features a cushion-grip design to improve torque transfer and reduce hand fatigue during repetitive fastening. Hardened tips and precision slim profiles deliver long wear life and reliable engagement with screws in tight or recessed locations.

• Cushion-grip handle for comfort and better torque control
• Hardened, slim tips for consistent fit and reduced cam-out
• Protective roll pouch keeps blades organized and transportable

Who is this for? The Klein Tools 32288 is built for electricians, HVAC technicians, maintenance mechanics and skilled tradespeople who need insulated tools that cover common fastener types without crowding a tool belt. It also suits home pros and contractors who value safety, quick bit changes and a compact kit that meets 1000V insulation standards. The protective roll pouch and bright orange insulation make this set easy to spot and store, so you can focus on the job rather than searching for the right screwdriver.
