KLEIN TOOLS hollow magnetic nut driver set — 6-piece SAE color-coded, 5" extended shafts, impact-rated

Built for tradespeople who work on recessed fasteners and threaded rod, this Klein Tools set combines hollow shafts, progressively larger magnets and impact-grade construction so you can drive and hold hex fasteners with confidence. The set includes common SAE sizes in a compact grouping that’s easy to identify on the job. Each driver delivers the reach and magnetic retention needed when access is limited but control is critical.

How do these nut drivers improve work in recessed or hard-to-reach areas?

The hollow 3-3/4" depth on each 5" shaft lets you run nut drivers over threaded rod and reach fasteners recessed beyond the nut driver mouth. The extended shaft adds clearance while the hollow core accepts long studs and bolts, keeping you from swapping tools or disassembling assemblies just to reach hardware.

• 5" overall shaft length for increased accessibility
• 3-3/4" hollow depth accommodates long threaded rod
• Slim profiles fit into tight cavities without sacrificing strength

What makes the magnetic retention reliable for one-handed driving?

Each nut driver is equipped with a powerful rare-earth magnet sized to match the hex dimension, so retention grows with driver size. This staged magnetic design holds fasteners securely, enabling confident one-handed placement and driving even when visibility is limited.

• Rare-earth magnets for strong, consistent fastener hold
• Magnet size increases with each hex size for balanced retention
• Reduces dropped nuts and speeds single-handed operation

Are these nut drivers durable enough for impact tools and heavy use?

Manufactured from high-grade impact steel and rated for demanding driving tasks, these drivers resist deformation and wear when used with impact drivers or hand-held impact tools. Color-coded handles and hardened shafts help the set remain serviceable job after job.

• Impact-rated construction for heavy-duty applications
• High-grade impact steel resists rounding and stress
• Color coding speeds size selection and reduces mistakes

Which SAE sizes are included and how does the color coding help on-site?

The set covers six commonly used SAE hex sizes so you have the right driver for many mechanical and electrical tasks. Each driver is color-coded for fast visual identification, saving time and minimizing interruptions during workflows.

• Included sizes: 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16"
• Distinct color markers make size recognition quick under low light
• Compact set simplifies storage and transport between job sites
