KitchenAid Silicone Oven Mitts 2-Pack, Matte Black 7.5"x13" — Ribbed Non‑Slip, Heat‑Resistant to 500°F

These matte-black silicone oven mitts combine a non-slip textured surface with inner padding to help you lift, carry, and maneuver hot cookware safely. Each mitt measures 7.5 inches wide by 13 inches long, giving a roomy fit for most hands while the cotton cuff and polyester lining add comfort and a secondary barrier against heat. The pair is easy to rinse clean and pairs visually with other KitchenAid Ribbed Soft Silicone accessories for a coordinated kitchen set.

How do these mitts resist heat and protect my hands?

The mitts are molded from durable silicone rated to withstand temperatures up to 500°F, creating an effective shield from hot pans and oven racks. Inside, a polyester lining cushions the hand and the cotton cuff extends protection up the wrist to reduce exposure to radiant heat.

• Silicone exterior disperses heat and resists melting or scorching.
• Polyester lining adds soft insulation and comfort.
• 7.5" x 13" size covers hand and lower forearm for added safety.

Will these mitts slip when I grab hot or greasy cookware?

The outer surface has a ribbed stripe pattern that increases friction, helping you maintain a secure hold on pots, baking sheets, and hot pans. The silicone material is naturally water-resistant, so it helps prevent steam or small spills from causing slippage.

• Textured ribbed design improves grip on wet or oily surfaces.
• Waterproof silicone prevents liquid absorption and staining.
• Flexible material conforms to shapes for a confident grasp.

How do I clean and care for the mitts?

Cleaning is simple: rinse under warm water to remove crumbs, grease, or spills and then wipe dry. The silicone surface resists stains and odors better than fabric-only mitts, but spot cleaning is recommended to maintain the cotton cuff and inner lining.

• Rinse or wipe clean with mild soap and water.
• Spot clean the cotton cuff; avoid machine washing to protect structure.
• Allow to air dry fully before storing to prevent mildew.

How do these mitts fit and coordinate with other kitchen items?

Each mitt is generously sized to fit most adult hands while providing coverage up the wrist. Their matte black finish and ribbed texture pair well with other KitchenAid Ribbed Soft Silicone pieces like pot holders, creating a cohesive look across your countertop and oven gear.

• Generous 7.5" x 13" dimensions for a comfortable, roomy fit.
• Matte black color blends with modern and classic kitchens.
• Designed to complement matching KitchenAid silicone accessories.
