Kettle Gryp dumbbell-to-kettlebell converter handle — Orange, hinges to fit bare-metal dumbbells up to 55 lb, secure latch

Kettle Gryp is a hinged converter handle that transforms most bare-metal dumbbells into a secure, comfortable kettlebell-style grip in seconds.

Designed and manufactured in the USA, the Kettle Gryp orange handle gives you kettlebell functionality without buying another set of equipment. It clips around a compatible dumbbell handle to create the off-center weight distribution and single-hand swing capability of a kettlebell, while remaining lightweight and portable for home, garage, gym or travel use. Built from impact-resistant ABS, urethane foam, and stainless steel hardware, this accessory supports dumbbells up to 55 lbs and features a patented latching closure for dependable security.

How does Kettle Gryp convert my dumbbells into kettlebells?

The Kettle Gryp opens on a hinge so you can place a bare-metal dumbbell handle into its cradle, then re-close and snap the latch. Its design shifts the dumbbell’s center of mass to one side, replicating kettlebell mechanics and enabling swings, cleans, presses and carries.

• Hinged handle for quick open-and-close conversion
• Patented secure latch keeps the dumbbell locked inside
• Works with many adjustable and standard bare-metal dumbbells
• Rated for up to 55 lb dumbbells

Which dumbbells are compatible and which are not?

Kettle Gryp fits most dumbbells with exposed metal handles up to 1.5" diameter and a minimum handle length of 4.5". It will not fit many vinyl- or neoprene-coated dumbbells because coated handles are often thicker or shorter than required.

• Compatible: adjustable and standard bare-metal handles under 1.5" diameter
• Not compatible: most neoprene or vinyl-coated dumbbells
• Measure handle diameter and grip length before purchase for best fit
• Refer to compatibility graphics for quick visual checks

How durable and safe is the Kettle Gryp for regular use?

Constructed from impact-resistant ABS plastic, closed-cell urethane foam and stainless steel latches, the Kettle Gryp is engineered for regular gym use while remaining light enough to carry. Its patented latch and robust materials provide a secure connection so you can perform dynamic movements with confidence.

• ABS body resists impact and daily wear
• Urethane foam padding improves grip comfort and reduces slippage
• Stainless steel hardware resists corrosion for longevity
• Maximum tested weight: 55 lbs

Why should I choose a Kettle Gryp instead of buying kettlebells?

Kettle Gryp saves money and space by turning dumbbells you already own into kettlebells, giving you a full range of kettlebell movements without a separate rack of weights. It’s also portable, making it easy to bring kettlebell training to hotels, group classes or small apartments.

• Low-cost alternative to buying multiple kettlebells
• Compact—stores with your dumbbells, no extra rack needed
• Weighs under one pound for easy transport
• Ideal for home gyms, travel, or limited-space workouts

Who is this for? Kettle Gryp is ideal for strength trainers, functional fitness enthusiasts, and travelers who already own compatible dumbbells and want to expand exercise options without large purchases or extra storage. It’s also useful for coaches and personal trainers who need a portable, quick-change tool to add kettlebell-style movements to sessions. If you use bare-metal dumbbells and want a compact, USA-made solution to practice swings, presses, cleans, and carries, the Kettle Gryp orange converter is a practical, secure, and cost-effective choice.
