Kaytee Timothy Hay for Rabbits & Guinea Pigs, 12 lb — High-Fiber, Hand-Selected Long Strands

Kaytee Timothy Hay is a hand-selected, high-fiber hay formulated to support the natural diet of rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and other small animals.

Timothy hay is widely recommended by small-pet experts because its coarse strands and balanced leaf-to-stem ratio help promote natural chewing and steady digestion. Kaytee grows, harvests and hand-selects each bale without pesticides, artificial preservatives or flavors, so owners receive long fiber strands and consistent quality in a convenient 12-pound package. With over 150 years of experience in small-animal nutrition, Kaytee sources hay intended specifically for the nutritional needs of herbivorous pets.

What makes Kaytee Timothy Hay different from generic hay?

Kaytee focuses on selection and handling to preserve fiber length and nutritional value. Hand-selection ensures a favorable leaf-to-stem balance and fewer dust particles, while farming practices avoid pesticides and artificial additives.

• Hand-selected bales for longer fiber strands and consistent texture
• Grown specifically for small animals, not general forage
• Harvested and stored to minimize dust and nutrient loss
• No pesticides, artificial preservatives, or flavors used

• Provides bulk to help regulate digestion and satiety
• Suitable for free-feeding alongside pellets and vegetables
• Long strands resist rapid shredding—stays usable longer in the bowl
