Kamenstein paper towel holder — die-cast aluminum wall or under-cabinet mount, patented ratchet for one-handed tear

The Kamenstein Perfect Tear Horizontal Paper Towel Holder is a die-cast aluminum wall or under-cabinet mount that uses a patented ratchet to hold rolls steady so you can tear single sheets with one hand.

This compact, thoughtfully engineered holder keeps paper towels within reach while reducing waste from unruly, spinning rolls. Built from die-cast aluminum with a flexible interior roller and an easy-mount design, it accepts everything from select-a-size and standard rolls to jumbo kitchen rolls. Whether you want to free up counter space or add a tidy utility station to a garage, bathroom, or RV, this model offers dependable performance and a clean modern look.

How does the patented ratchet system improve everyday use?

The ratchet mechanism secures the roll against free spinning so each pull stops cleanly at a tear point. That controlled resistance prevents unintentional unraveling, helps you tear towels with one hand, and minimizes wasted sheets during quick tasks.

• Patented ratchet holds paper roll steady for single-sheet tears
• One-handed operation speeds up cooking and cleanup
• Reduces wasted paper from over-tearing or roll spill

What mounting options are available and where can I install it?

You can mount this holder to a wall surface or to the underside of cabinets to reclaim counter space. The slim profile works well in kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, workshops, RVs and other small spaces where surface area matters.

• Wall or under-cabinet installation for flexible placement
• Works in kitchens, garages, bathrooms, RVs, and craft rooms
• Low-profile design keeps countertops clear and tidy

Will this holder work with all paper towel sizes and how do you change rolls?

The internal wire roller stretches to fit regular, select-a-size, and jumbo rolls so you don’t need a special size. Most rolls slide on and off without popping the end cap, so replacing an empty roll is fast and fuss-free.

• Flexible die-cast aluminum roller adapts to multiple roll diameters
• Quick roll swaps — often without removing the finial
• Compatible with popular brands and both standard and jumbo cores

How durable is the construction and what maintenance is required?

Cast aluminum construction gives the holder a sturdy, premium feel while resisting rust and daily wear. The smooth finish wipes clean with a damp cloth and the simple mechanical parts are made to last in both kitchen and workshop environments.

• Die-cast aluminum body for long-lasting strength and rust resistance
• Easy surface care — wipe down with a damp cloth
• Minimal moving parts reduce maintenance needs

Who this is for: Ideal for anyone who wants faster, tidier cleanup and less paper waste — from busy home cooks and small-space dwellers to DIYers who need a reliable roll holder in a garage or workshop. If you value one-handed convenience, a slim footprint, and broad roll compatibility, the Kamenstein Perfect Tear holder is a practical upgrade.
