JrTrack JrTrack 5 Kids Smartwatch — Real-Time GPS Tracker, SOS & Parental Controls (Cosmo eSIM)

The JrTrack 5 by Cosmo is a kid-focused smartwatch that combines real-time GPS tracking, secure calling and messaging, and parental controls to keep children connected and safe.

Designed for children aged 6 and up, the JrTrack 5 blends everyday convenience with safety-first features: pinpoint location updates, parent-approved contacts, distraction management, and optional kid-friendly apps like Spotify. The watch pairs with Cosmo’s family-safe cellular service via an eSIM so parents can manage settings and monitor activity without exposing kids to open internet or social networks.

How accurate is the JrTrack 5’s location tracking?

JrTrack 5 uses HaloGPS with a modern location chip to provide fast, frequent position updates. The system prioritizes precision so parents can quickly see where a child is and get notified if they enter or leave defined zones.

• Real-time location updates with frequent refreshes
• High-sensitivity location chip for better urban/indoor performance
• Configurable SafeZone geofencing and alerts
• Quick locate feature for immediate position checks

What communication options does the watch offer for family contact?

The watch supports real calling and Cosmo’s True Texting system so children can voice-call and exchange texts, photos, audio, and short video with parent-approved contacts only. Spam and unknown contacts are blocked to prevent unwanted communications.

• Two-way voice calls with stored parent-approved numbers
• Secure texting with pictures, audio clips, and short videos
• Parental visibility into sent and received messages
• Service coverage across the US, Canada, and Mexico via Cosmo Mobile

Which parental controls and safety features can I manage?

Parents control nearly every aspect of the JrTrack 5 experience through the companion app. From contact lists and focus schedules to emergency alerts and app permissions, the platform is built to give families flexibility while maintaining safety boundaries.

• Parent-approved contacts only — no unknown callers
• SafeCore safety suite: SOS alerts, SafeZone notifications, emergency calling option
• Focus Mode to limit use during school or bedtime
• Manageable library of kid-friendly apps and time limits

Does the JrTrack 5 need a separate cellular plan and what extras are included?

The JrTrack 5 activates with Cosmo’s eSIM and requires Cosmo Mobile Family-Safe service. Plans are flexible and affordable, starting with prepaid options; the watch is not compatible with other carriers. Optional features like Spotify access require an appropriate subscription.

• Built-in eSIM for quick activation with Cosmo Mobile
• Prepaid and flexible family plans — inexpensive starter options
• Optional Spotify and Spotify Kids access with a separate subscription
• Includes everyday tools: alarms, step counter, reminders, find-my-watch

Who is this for: JrTrack 5 is aimed at families who want a lightweight, kid-friendly wearable that prioritizes location accuracy, controlled communication, and customizable safety settings. It’s a fit for parents seeking a phone-alternative for young kids who need contactability and monitoring without full smartphone access.
