Joydeco Blackout Curtains 84" Long, 2-Pack Grommet Panels — Thermal Insulated, Noise-Reducing

These Joydeco blackout panels are made from 100% polyester with a dark inner lining to limit light and UV exposure while adding thermal insulation for year-round energy savings. Each pack includes two grommet-top curtains (each panel 52" wide by 84" long) with silver rings that fit standard curtain rods. They come in multiple colors and lengths to match different room styles and window sizes, and they’re machine washable for convenient care.

How well do these curtains block light and UV rays?

The Joydeco panels use a dense polyester weave plus an inner dark layer that blocks between 85% and 99% of incoming sunlight depending on color and installation. Darker tones naturally perform closer to the higher end of that range, while lighter shades still significantly reduce glare and UV exposure.

• Blocks 85%–99% of daylight and harmful UV rays (darker colors block more)
• Inner dark layer reduces light bleed at the seams
• Ideal for bedrooms, media rooms, or shift workers

Do these curtains help with noise and temperature control?

Joydeco tested these curtains for noise reduction and found them effective at dampening outside sounds, making them suitable for light sleepers or nap rooms. The thermal fabric also creates an insulating barrier that helps keep rooms cooler in summer and reduces heat loss in winter, lowering HVAC use.

• Measured reduction in external noise for quieter interiors
• Thermal insulation reduces heat transfer through windows
• Can contribute to modest energy savings over time

What are the sizing, fitting, and care details I should know?

Each set contains two 52"-wide panels; this listing is for the 84" length variant. Panels have eight 1.6"-inner-diameter silver grommets per panel that slide on most standard and decorative rods. For best results, hang the panels slightly wider than the window and allow some overlap at the center.

• Available sizes: 52"W x 72"L up to 52"W x 120"L; this set is 52"x84"
• Eight silver grommets per panel, 1.6" inner diameter
• Machine washable — wash separately in a mesh bag; do not bleach; warm iron and tumble dry low

Will these curtains look good and stay wrinkle-free?

The polyester fabric is thread-trimmed and engineered to resist creasing, giving a smooth drape that suits modern and classic interiors. Colors are available from neutrals like beige and grey to deeper tones like navy and burgundy; note that the inner dark layer can make lighter colors appear slightly greyish rather than pure white.

• Wrinkle-resistant polyester for neat, tailored appearance
• Color range includes neutrals and rich hues to complement decor
• Dark inner layer maintains privacy and hides soiling over time
