Jorvila Non-Slip Rug Pad Gripper 8x10 ft — double-sided trim-to-fit pad, cushioning & floor protection

The Jorvila Non-Slip Rug Pad Gripper 8x10 ft is a double-sided, trim-to-fit underlay that locks rugs in place, adds cushioning, and protects both rug and floor from wear.

If you want a simple way to keep an 8x10 rug flat, quiet, and stationary without adhesives or messy tapes, this rug pad delivers. The open mesh, dense-but-flexible material creates a double-sided grip that holds carpets on hardwood, tile, laminate, and low-pile rugs, while offering extra padding underfoot. Because it trims cleanly with scissors and won’t leave residue, it’s designed for easy installation and long-lasting protection.

How does this pad stop slipping and bunching?

The pad uses a textured, double-sided surface that increases friction against both floor and rug fibers. That means movement is dramatically reduced even in high-traffic zones. It’s lightweight but dense enough to stabilize rugs without adding bulk.

• Double-sided grip locks rug edges and centers in place.
• Textured mesh increases contact area for better traction.
• Works on hardwood, tile, laminate, and low-pile rugs.

Will it protect my floors and extend my rug’s life?

Yes — the pad lowers friction directly between the rug backing and hard surfaces, which reduces wear on both. The cushioning also disperses foot traffic impact, helping to preserve fibers and finishes over time. Its breathable mesh design lets air circulate under the rug, which helps maintain the rug’s underside and makes vacuuming easier.

• Reduces abrasion that causes rug and floor degradation.
• Added cushioning softens footsteps and reduces noise.
• Mesh construction allows airflow and easier cleaning.

Can I customize the pad to fit odd-sized rugs and furniture?

Absolutely — the Jorvila pad trims easily with household scissors so you can shape it to any rug, runner, or even beneath furniture pieces. Its non-adhesive design makes repositioning simple and won’t leave sticky residue on floors. Use leftover pieces for cabinet liners, under sofa cushions, or mattress stabilization.

• Trim-to-fit with scissors for custom shapes and sizes.
• Non-adhesive and lightweight for easy repositioning.
• Multipurpose: under furniture, drawers, or appliances.

How comfortable and quiet does it make a room?

The pad adds a modest layer of cushioning that softens hard flooring underfoot and reduces room noise from footsteps. It’s not a thick carpet underlay meant for deep plush, but it improves comfort noticeably while keeping the rug stable. The noise-dampening effect is particularly helpful in apartments or multi-level homes.

• Provides additional underfoot cushioning and support.
• Dampens impact noise from foot traffic.
• Thin enough to preserve door clearance and rug profile.
