JBL Grip Portable Bluetooth Speaker — Pink, IP68 Waterproof, 14‑Hour Battery & Ambient Light

Lightweight and shaped for easy handling, the JBL Grip packs smarter audio and practical toughness into a compact body. AI Sound Boost analyzes songs in real time to maximize clarity and perceived volume, while an integrated ambient light adds visual flair you can control from the JBL Portable app. With IP68 waterproof/dustproof protection and a drop-proof shell, it’s built to travel from kitchen counters to beach blankets without missing a beat.

How loud and clear can this small speaker get?

Despite its one-handed size, the Grip uses JBL Pro Sound with AI Sound Boost to enhance dynamics and reduce distortion, giving you fuller sound than its footprint suggests. Use the app’s 7-band EQ to shape tone for different music styles.

• AI Sound Boost for real-time audio optimization
• JBL Pro Sound tuning for punch and clarity
• 7-band EQ control in the JBL Portable app

How long will the battery last during real use?

The Grip provides long listening sessions with up to 14 hours on a single charge; when you need extra runtime, Playtime Boost adds approximately two more hours. Charging habits, volume, and ambient light usage will influence actual runtime.

• Standard playtime up to 14 hours
• Playtime Boost gives about +2 hours
• Battery life varies by volume and light settings

Can I take it to the pool or on a hike?

Yes — the speaker’s IP68 rating protects against water and dust, and its drop-resistant design withstands falls from up to 1 meter onto concrete. That makes it suitable for wet or dusty environments and everyday bumps.

• IP68 waterproof and dustproof construction
• Drop-proof from 1 meter onto concrete
• Compact, easy-grip shape for portable use

How do I expand sound for a group or stereo setup?

Link two JBL Grip speakers via Auracast for true stereo separation, or connect additional Auracast-enabled JBL speakers to build wider coverage. Pairing and settings are handled through the JBL Portable app for fast setup.

• Auracast stereo pairing for two Grips
• Multi-speaker linking with other Auracast-enabled JBL devices
• App-based management for quick connections

Who is this for? The JBL Grip is ideal for anyone who wants a go-anywhere speaker that balances surprising sound quality with portable convenience.
