JanSport Big Break Insulated Lunch Bag Cooler, Pastel Petals Black — 8L insulated, 600D recycled polyester

The JanSport Big Break Insulated Lunch Bag Cooler is an 8L, fully insulated portable meal carrier built from 600D recycled polyester to keep lunches hot or cold while staying compact and durable.

Designed for students, commuters, and anyone who brings meals on the go, this lunch bag balances protection, organization, and attachment versatility. The pastel petals black print gives it a subtle, modern look while the practical layout stores meal containers, utensils, and ice packs without taking up much space. Rugged recycled fabric and a secure zipper mean it survives daily use while supporting a smaller environmental footprint.

How much can I fit inside the Big Break lunch bag?

The Big Break provides 490 cubic inches (8 liters) of insulated space sized to hold multiple meal-prep containers, a standard beverage can, and a compact ice pack. Its rectangular shape stacks containers efficiently so you can pack a full lunch and snacks.

• Capacity: 490 cu in / 8 L
• Dimensions: 10 x 7.5 x 5 inches (25 x 19 x 12.7 cm)
• Fits: multiple meal prep containers, a can or small bottle, and an ice pack

Will it keep food cold or warm during a commute?

The insulated interior slows temperature change for several hours when combined with an ice pack or insulated container. The fully sealed primary compartment and sturdy zipper help retain cool or warm air while you travel between home, work, or school.

• Fully insulated main compartment for temperature regulation
• Use with ice packs to extend cold retention
• Zipper closure minimizes air exchange for better temperature hold

How does the bag handle organization and attachments?

An external zippered stash pocket keeps utensils, napkins, and condiments separated from the main food area to prevent sogginess and clutter. The adjustable hook-and-loop haul handle lets you carry it by hand or secure it to a larger backpack or gear bag for hands-free transport.

• Front zippered pocket for utensils and small items
• Hook-and-loop attachment strap for clipping to another bag or carrying by hand
• Lightweight design keeps total carry weight low when packed

What materials and durability features does JanSport use?

This lunch bag is built from 600 Denier polyester made entirely from recycled materials, offering high-density fabric that resists daily wear, punctures, and abrasions. Quality construction and reinforced stitching at stress points give it long-term durability for frequent use.

• Fabric: 600D recycled polyester for toughness and sustainability
• Durability: abrasion- and puncture-resistant weave
• Design: reinforced seams and a sturdy zipper for everyday reliability
