iTouchless SoftStep 5.3 Gal Semi-Round Pedal Trash Can — Stainless Steel, Soft-Close Lid & Odor Filter

The iTouchless SoftStep 5.3-gallon semi-round pedal trash can is a fingerprint-proof stainless steel waste bin with a soft-close lid, removable inner bucket, and an included AbsorbX odor filter for everyday rooms.

Designed to fit beside vanities, under desks, or in compact kitchens, this 20-liter (5.3 gallon) semi-round can balances low-profile styling with practical features. The stainless finish resists smudges, the large steel pedal is built for long life, and the tucked inner bucket makes emptying quick and tidy. It’s a small-footprint solution for users who want a hands-free bin with odor control and durable mechanics.

How does the SoftClose lid make daily use easier?

The SoftStep lid uses a built-in air damper so the lid closes gently and quietly, preventing slams and reducing noise in shared spaces. The damper is replaceable, helping maintain that soft close over time.

• Ergonomic pedal requires minimal force to open
• Air-damper mechanism prevents loud slams
• Damper is replaceable for extended performance
• Lid stays open when needed for hands-on tasks

What keeps odors under control in this bin?

An AbsorbX Compact Odor Filter comes with the can and is designed to absorb and neutralize smells rather than mask them. The filter sits inside the lid area so air passing out of the bin encounters the absorber, helping maintain fresher room air for up to months at a time.

• One AbsorbX filter included for immediate odor control
• Filter neutralizes odors naturally instead of covering them
• Typical filter life up to three months depending on use
• Simple filter replacement keeps maintenance low

How does the removable inner bucket and bag retention work?

The molded inner bucket lifts out so you can empty waste without touching the exterior shell, and a tuck-and-hold retention system secures standard bags neatly around the rim. This arrangement speeds bag changes and keeps the stainless steel exterior clean.

• Removable inner bucket for mess-free emptying
• Tuck & Hold design hides bag edges for a tidy look
• Inner bucket is sized for standard liners, simplifying refills
• Non-skid rubber base pads keep the can stable on floors

Is this trash can built to last in busy environments?

Yes—the large steel pedal is engineered for durability and rated for over 200,000 steps, translating to decades of regular household use. Fingerprint-proof stainless resists smudges and is easy to wipe clean, while rubber feet protect floors and prevent sliding.

• Pedal rated for 200,000+ steps for long-term reliability
• Smudge-resistant stainless steel finish keeps it looking new
• Rubber pads stabilize the base and protect flooring
• Compact semi-round shape optimizes placement against walls
