iTouchless 8 Gallon Stainless Steel Step Trash Can — Quiet‑Close Lid, Removable Inner Bucket & Odor Filter

The iTouchless SoftStep 8 Gallon Step Trash Can is a stainless steel pedal bin with a quiet-closing lid, removable inner bucket, and an included AbsorbX odor filter for everyday kitchens, bathrooms, and offices.

This 30‑liter round pedal trash can from iTouchless blends practical engineering with a clean, fingerprint‑resistant stainless finish. It’s designed for hands‑free use, low noise operation, and built-in odor control so your waste area stays tidy and discreet. With a durable steel pedal, tuck & hold bag retention, and a removable inner bucket, it simplifies emptying and keeps liners secure.

How does the quiet lid close work and why does it matter?

The SoftStep uses an ergonomic pedal plus a replaceable air damper to ensure the lid closes slowly and silently, minimizing clatter that can disturb living spaces. This mechanism reduces wear on the hinge for longer life and keeps noise low when multiple disposals happen a day.

• Durable steel pedal rated for over 200,000 steps — built for long-term use
• Replaceable air damper preserves the soft‑close action
• Lid stay‑open mode helps when changing liners or disposing large items

Will this can control odors in a kitchen or bathroom?

Yes — the SoftStep includes one AbsorbX Compact Odor Filter that neutralizes odors naturally for up to three months under normal conditions. The filter fits into the deodorizer compartment so air passing from the bin is filtered before escaping into the room.

• AbsorbX cartridge included and simple to replace
• Filter designed to absorb and neutralize common household smells
• Sealed lid and inner bucket reduce scent leaks when closed

How easy is it to empty and keep clean?

The removable inner bucket lifts out for quick emptying and rinsing, while the tuck & hold system secures trash bags so liners don’t slip. The stainless steel exterior is fingerprint‑resistant and wipes clean with a soft cloth and mild cleaner.

• Removable inner bucket prevents mess on the outer shell
• Tuck & Hold bag retention keeps liners tidy and hidden
• Smudge‑resistant stainless steel for low maintenance cleaning

What are the size and durability features I should know about?

The bin holds roughly 8 gallons (30 liters) and measures 14.2" D x 11.9" W x 25.2" H with a 35.2" height when the lid is open, making it suitable for small to medium kitchens, bathrooms, or office corners. Rubber non‑skid pads on the base protect floors while the robust pedal and steel construction provide long service life.

• Capacity: 8 gallons / 30 liters — fits standard kitchen liners
• Dimensions listed for fitting under counters or beside cabinets
• Non‑skid base and sturdy pedal ensure stable, long‑lasting use

Who is this for? The iTouchless SoftStep 8 Gallon Pedal Trash Can is ideal for homeowners and renters who want a hands‑free, low‑noise waste solution with odor reduction and easy maintenance. It suits small to medium kitchens, bathrooms, dorm rooms, and office areas where a neat, durable stainless steel bin with a removable inner bucket and reliable pedal is preferred.
