iTouchless 8-Gallon Automatic Stainless Steel Trash Can — PetGuard Dog-Proof Sensor Bin with Odor Filter

The iTouchless 8-gallon automatic stainless steel trash can is a hands-free, pet-proof recycling bin with an odor-filtered lid and motion sensor for hygienic waste disposal.

Designed for kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and offices, this 30-liter automatic bin combines a fingerprint-resistant stainless steel body with a patent-pending PetGuard lid lock and an included AbsorbX odor filter. Its rectangular shape maximizes usable capacity without an inner bucket, while the wide 12-inch opening accepts bulky items. Choose battery power or an optional AC adapter to suit your household needs.

How does the PetGuard system keep pets out of the trash?

The PetGuard mechanism mechanically prevents curious dogs and other pets from forcing the lid open, working alongside the motion sensor to reduce unwanted rummaging. It locks the lid securely when activated and releases only when the sensor is triggered by deliberate motion.

• Patent-pending lid lock resists pawing and nosing
• Automatic release for human hand motions only
• Solid construction that won’t impede normal sensor operation

Will this touchless trash can control odors and germs?

Yes—touchless operation minimizes contact with germs, and the included AbsorbX filter captures and neutralizes common trash smells. The sealed lid combined with odor-absorbing media helps keep nearby rooms fresher between cleanings.

• AbsorbX odor filter included for active odor reduction
• Hands-free motion sensor reduces surface contamination
• Fingerprint-proof stainless finish keeps exterior cleaner-looking

How much trash does the bin hold and what size bags fit?

This bin offers an 8-gallon (30-liter) capacity and a broad 12" lid opening to accept larger items like pizza boxes. Its inner design requires no bucket, providing roughly 25% more usable space than many comparable cans and working with standard kitchen liners.

• 8-gallon/30-liter total capacity
• Wide 12-inch opening for bulky waste
• Rectangular footprint to fit snugly against walls or in corners

What power options and maintenance should I expect?

The trash can runs on four D batteries (not included) for cordless placement or can use an optional AC adapter for continuous operation. Routine upkeep includes replacing the absorbent odor filter as prompted by free text reminders and occasional exterior wiping to preserve the stainless finish.

• Operates on 4 D-cell batteries or optional AC adapter
• Text reminder service for timely odor filter replacement
• Removable lid features bag retainer ring and easy cleaning

Who is this for: ideal for pet owners who need a reliable dog-proof solution, families that prefer a touchless, hygienic waste option, and anyone wanting a compact yet roomy stainless steel can for kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, offices or nurseries. If you want a low-contact, odor-reducing bin with a secure lid and modern look, this iTouchless model suits small to medium households or shared spaces where cleanliness and pet safety matter.
