isinlive Water Filter Replacement for Breville Barista Touch BES880 – 4-Pack Activated Carbon & Ion-Exchange Cartridges

isinlive replacement water filters for Breville Barista Touch BES880 are a 4-pack of activated-carbon and ion-exchange cartridges that reduce limescale and off-flavors to help your espresso machine deliver cleaner-tasting coffee.

If your Breville espresso machine performs slower, produces inconsistent crema, or shows a scale-warning light, fresh water filtration can help maintain brewing consistency and extend machine life. These filters are made for specific Breville models and use coconut-activated carbon plus ion-exchange resin to trap chlorine, some heavy metals, and minerals that contribute to scale. The package contains four individually wrapped filters — enough for roughly a year if replaced every three months.

Which Breville machines work with this replacement filter?

The isinlive filter is designed to fit a range of Breville machines that accept part number BES008WHT0NUC1. It’s compatible with the Barista Touch BES880, Barista Touch Impress BES881, Barista Pro BES878, Oracle Touch BES990BSS, Oracle BES980, and Dual Boiler BES920. Always verify your machine’s filter compartment and part number before purchasing to guarantee fit.

• Compatible part number: BES008WHT0NUC1
• Compatible models listed above (BES880, BES881, BES878, BES990BSS, BES980, BES920)
• Designed for the filtering chamber used by these Breville models

How do I install and activate the filter?

Installation is quick: remove the old cartridge, insert the new filter into the machine’s filter holder, and follow your brewer’s prompts if it asks to reset the filter indicator. Before first use, fully submerge the filter in water for 5–10 minutes and squeeze it several times to expel trapped air; this primes the media to flow properly and improves initial performance.

• Soak 5–10 minutes before first use
• Squeeze to remove air bubbles and prime the cartridge
• Insert into the machine and reset the filter timer if needed

What improvements should I expect in coffee and machine care?

Filtered water helps reduce mineral buildup (scale) and removes certain tastes and odors caused by chlorine and impurities. This leads to a more consistent extraction and can help maintain pump and heater efficiency. While not a substitute for regular descaling, using a filter reduces how often heavy descaling is needed and preserves flavor clarity.

• Reduced lime and scale formation on internal components
• Cleaner-tasting water with fewer chlorine or metallic notes
• More consistent temperature and extraction over time

How often should I replace the filter and what’s included?

The pack includes four independent replacement filters — typically a one-year supply if you change the cartridge every three months as recommended. Each filter has a monthly tracker dial to help you monitor replacement intervals. Replace sooner if you use very hard water or see a decline in taste or machine performance.

• 4 individual filters included per package
• Recommended replacement: every 3 months (approx. 1 year total)
• FSC-certified paper components and recyclable packaging where available

Who is this for: Home baristas and small offices using compatible Breville espresso machines who want a simple way to reduce limescale and off-flavors without changing their brewing routine. If you value consistent shots, want to lower maintenance intervals, and prefer a ready-made 4-pack that matches Breville’s filter form factor, these isinlive cartridges are a practical, budget-conscious option.
