The IRON °FLASK 40 oz Wide Mouth Water Bottle with Straw is a double-wall insulated, leak-resistant stainless steel bottle designed to keep beverages cold up to 24 hours and hot up to 12 hours while offering easy, spill-free sipping.

Whether you're commuting, training, hiking, or working from a desk, this 40 oz wide-mouth bottle pairs large-capacity hydration with a convenient straw lid and a secure carabiner. Crafted from 18/8 food-grade stainless steel and finished with condensation-free insulation, it balances durability, portability, and everyday functionality. The bottle ships with a leak-proof carabiner straw lid for hands-free sipping, and its wide mouth makes filling, adding ice, and cleaning straightforward.

How does this bottle stay cold or hot for so long?

The bottle uses double-wall vacuum insulation to reduce heat transfer between the inside and outside. That means cold drinks remain chilled for many hours and warm drinks keep their temperature without warming or cooling quickly. The insulated design also prevents exterior condensation, keeping bags and surfaces dry.

• Double-wall vacuum insulation minimizes temperature exchange
• Cold retention up to 24 hours, warm retention up to 12 hours
• Condensation-free exterior keeps hands and bags dry

Is the straw lid really leak-proof and travel friendly?

The included straw lid is designed to resist leaks while offering quick, one-handed sipping. A secure cap and silicone seals reduce accidental spills, and the built-in carabiner clips to backpacks or belt loops for easy transport. The lid also detaches easily for cleaning or swapping with other compatible caps.

• Leak-resistant straw lid with silicone seals
• Carabiner attachment for on-the-go carrying
• Removable parts for quick cleaning and replacement

What materials and care does the IRON °FLASK use?

This bottle is made from 18/8 stainless steel, which is food-safe, BPA-free, and resists rust and metallic taste. The durable finish stands up to outdoor use and everyday bumps. Hand washing with warm soapy water is recommended to preserve the cap seals and coating.

• 18/8 premium stainless steel, BPA-free and non-toxic
• Rust-resistant interior with neutral taste retention
• Hand wash only to protect seals and finish

How big is the 40 oz bottle and how does it fit into daily life?

The 40 oz capacity holds several hours' worth of hydration so you can skip frequent refills. The wide mouth accepts large ice cubes, fruit, or powdered mixes and is still slim enough to fit many backpack side pockets and car cup holders. Its weight when full is manageable for hiking, workouts, and long commutes.
