IMPROVIA Positioning Bed Pad for Lifting & Turning, Green 34 x 52 — 8 Reinforced Handles, Waterproof

IMPROVIA Positioning Bed Pad is a washable, waterproof underpad with eight reinforced handles designed to make lifting, turning, and transfers safer and less strenuous.

This multifunctional bed pad combines a soft, quick-drying surface with a moisture-wicking core and sturdy handles so caregivers can reposition and protect bedridden or incontinent adults more easily. Sized 34" x 52" and finished in green, the pad balances comfort, durability and hygiene: it resists fluids, dries rapidly, and is machine washable for repeated use.

How does this pad make lifting and turning easier?

The pad's eight reinforced handles are positioned to create secure grip points for one or more caregivers. This reduces the need to roll the patient directly and lowers strain on hips and shoulders while moving someone in bed.

• Eight reinforced webbed handles placed for balanced lifting
• Supports transfers and repositioning up to 400 lbs
• Non-slip backing helps keep the pad in place during movement

Can it protect the mattress and handle incontinence?

Yes — the pad is waterproof and designed to absorb and contain moderate amounts of fluid while leaving the top layer feeling dry. The moisture-wicking center disperses liquid to the absorbent layer, and the waterproof backing prevents leaks to the mattress.

• Waterproof membrane blocks fluids from reaching bedding
• Absorbent core holds approximately 12 oz without feeling soggy
• Quick-dry surface helps reduce wetness against skin and bedding

How durable and easy to maintain is the pad?

This cover is built for regular use and frequent laundering — its materials stand up to repeated washing and the manufacturer rates it for many cycles. The quick-dry construction also shortens drying times between washes so it's ready when you need it again.

• Machine washable and reusable — designed for hundreds of wash cycles
• Quick-dry layer typically dries within minutes under proper conditions
• Stitching and reinforced handles resist wear from regular transfers

What size and weight capacity should I expect?

The pad measures 34" by 52", a size that fits most home and institutional beds beneath a single occupant. Its reinforced structure supports assisted movement and transfers for people weighing up to 400 pounds.

• Dimensions: 34" x 52" — fits standard bed layouts
• Rated to aid transfers up to 400 lbs when used correctly
• Compact enough for storage and convenient handling
