The ILM Motorcycle Dual Visor Flip-up Modular Full Face Helmet Model 902 is a DOT/FMVS-218 compliant modular helmet with a dual-visors system, removable washable interior, and a lightweight ABS shell for quieter rides.

Built for riders who want the convenience of a flip-up face shield without sacrificing certified crash protection, the ILM 902 combines a robust high-resistance ABS outer shell with a dual-visors setup and a micrometrically adjustable chin strap. The helmet’s modular design lets you switch between full-face security and open-face visibility in seconds, while interior pads are easy to remove and clean. Anti-scratch and anti-fog treatments on the wide-view clear visor improve clarity in varied conditions, and the streamlined shape helps reduce wind noise on highway rides.

How does the flip-up modular design improve everyday riding?

The flip-up mechanism lets you lift the face shield and chin bar as one piece, making quick stops, fuel breaks, and short conversations more comfortable without removing the helmet. It also allows for better ventilation and communication while parked. The robust hinge locks securely for full-face protection when closed.

• One-handed flip-up action for convenience at stops
• Secure locking mechanism when closed for safety
• Improved airflow and easier helmet-on/off interactions
• Dual visor setup offers sun protection plus clear vision

What safety credentials and construction features does it have?

The ILM 902 uses a high-resistance ABS shell engineered to meet or exceed FMVSS-218 and DOT standards, providing dependable impact resistance. The micrometrically adjustable chin strap gives a precise fit to help keep the helmet properly positioned. Interior cheek pads and liner are designed for comfort while maintaining protective fit.

How clear and practical is the visor system for different conditions?

The helmet includes a clear wide-view visor treated to resist scratches and fog, plus an integrated secondary sun visor for glare reduction. That dual system lets riders adapt quickly to changing light without swapping shields. The broad field of view supports better situational awareness on the road.

• Wide-view clear visor for expanded peripheral vision
• Anti-scratch surface to maintain optical clarity
• Anti-fog treatment for damp or cool conditions
• Internal sun visor for quick glare reduction

How does the helmet balance comfort, noise control, and maintenance?

The streamlined shell and internal shaping reduce wind turbulence and overall noise, making long rides less fatiguing. Lightweight materials keep the helmet balanced on the head, while the removable, washable interior components simplify upkeep. Soft cheek pads increase comfort without adding bulk.

• Sleek, lightweight design that minimizes wind noise
