How does the flip-up modular design help during stops and rides?

The modular flip-up mechanism lets you lift the chin bar and clear visor in one motion so you can talk, hydrate, or get airflow without removing the helmet. It’s engineered for fast, single-handed operation and locks securely in both closed and open positions for stable riding.

• One-motion flip-up chin bar for quick conversion
• Secure locking to prevent accidental opening while riding
• Improved convenience at gas stations, tolls, and traffic stops

What visibility features protect vision and reduce fogging?

The ILM 902 comes with a wide, clear outer visor treated to resist scratches and an inner sun visor to cut glare without swapping lenses. Ventilation and the visor’s anti-fog properties reduce condensation, keeping your sightlines clear in varied weather and temperature changes.

• Wide, distortion-minimizing clear outer visor
• Built-in internal sunshield for quick light adjustment
• Anti-scratch and anti-fog treatments plus thoughtful venting

How comfortable and maintainable is the helmet for long rides?

Comfort is prioritized with lightweight liner materials and removable cheek pads that wash easily, so the interior stays fresh after long use. The shell’s reduced wind noise design helps cut rider fatigue while micrometric strap adjustment ensures a snug, customizable fit.

• Soft, breathable liner and cheek pads that are removable and washable
• Lightweight construction to lower neck strain and road noise
• Micrometric strap for precise, tool-free fit adjustments

Which safety standards does the ILM 902 meet?

This model has been manufactured to comply with FMVSS-218 and DOT testing requirements, providing certified performance for impact and retention systems. The high-resistance ABS shell and secure strap system work together to meet those regulatory benchmarks.
