iLiving 12" Wall-Mounted Shutter Exhaust Fan — Silver, 960 CFM & Thermostat

The iLIVING 12" Wall Mounted Shutter Exhaust Fan (ILG8SF12V-ST) is a heavy-duty ventilation unit that moves up to 960 CFM while offering automatic shutters, a thermostat and variable speed control for reliable air exchange in commercial and agricultural spaces.

This shutter exhaust fan combines industrial materials and electronic controls to clear heat, humidity and odors from barns, warehouses, greenhouses, workshops and restaurants. It ships preassembled — you only need to hardwire it — and is built with a galvanized steel frame, aluminum blades and OSHA-compliant guards for long-lasting, code-friendly performance.

How much airflow and area coverage can I expect?

The fan produces up to 960 cubic feet per minute (CFM) with a 12" blade diameter and a deep pitch for efficient air movement. At that output it can ventilate spaces up to about 1,400 square feet, depending on ceiling height and layout.

• Airflow: 960 CFM
• Blade size: 12 inches, aluminum
• Suggested coverage: up to 1,400 sq ft (typical single-room conditions)
• Speed: variable via included controller for tuned ventilation

What controls and temperature features are included?

This model includes the Thermospeed controller, which provides adjustable fan speed and an automatic temperature-controlled cycle. You can set an on/off threshold between 32°F and 130°F so the fan starts or stops based on ambient temperature while also allowing manual speed adjustment.

• Thermospeed controller for temperature-based auto ON/OFF
• Temperature range: 32°F–130°F
• Variable speed control for precise airflow management
• Manual override possible for constant operation

Is the fan durable and safe for commercial use?

The ILG8SF12V-ST is constructed from galvanized steel with aluminum shutters and blades to resist corrosion and wear in demanding environments. Safety features include OSHA-compliant wire guards and a permanently lubricated, thermally protected motor rated for long service life.

• Material: galvanized steel frame and aluminum blades/shutters
• Motor: enclosed, thermally protected, permanently lubricated
• Certifications: UL/cUL listed
• Noise: under 65 dB at typical operating speeds

How easy is installation and maintenance?

The fan arrives fully assembled so installation focuses on wall mounting and electrical hardwiring by a qualified electrician. Routine upkeep is minimal: inspect and clean the shutters, blades and guards periodically and verify controller settings for seasonal changes.

• Ships assembled — wall-mount hardware not included
• Electrical hardwiring required (115V, 0.6A)
• Periodic cleaning of shutters and guard recommended
• Local customer support available for setup and troubleshooting

Who is this for? The iLIVING ILG8SF12V-ST suits business owners, facility managers and growers who need dependable, controllable ventilation in medium-to-large spaces. It is designed for industrial, agricultural and commercial settings where corrosion resistance, safety compliance and temperature-based automation matter more than decorative styling.
