IIWEY Humane Mouse Traps — 12-inch No-Kill Live-Catch Rodent Cage, Reinforced Doors, Reusable 2-Pack (Black)

IIWEY Humane Mouse Traps are large, no-kill live-catch cages designed to capture mice, rats, chipmunks and similar rodents safely for release.

These 12-inch traps from IIWEY offer an enlarged interior, reinforced doors and a reusable design intended to reduce harm to animals while keeping homes, gardens and businesses rodent-free without poisons or snap-style mechanisms. Built-in iron-reinforced entry panels resist chewing, the trigger and release are simple to operate, and the traps can be cleaned and reset quickly for repeated use.

How does the larger interior space matter for a live-catch trap?

A roomy interior reduces stress and the risk of tail pinching or suffocation that smaller boxed traps can cause. The IIWEY model's 12-inch length gives captured animals more room to move, lowering the chance of injury while held temporarily.

• 12-inch internal length for more movement space
• Wire-mesh sides for airflow and visibility
• Rounded corners to minimize pinching points

How do I set and release an IIWEY humane mouse trap?

Setting the trap is straightforward: open the front door, place bait near the trigger, and close. After capture, carry the trap to a release location, open the door outwards and allow the animal to exit without direct contact.

• Front door opens for easy baiting and access
• Simple trigger mechanism activates when rodent enters
• Outward-opening release avoids touching the animal

Is the IIWEY trap durable and reusable?

Yes—the IIWEY traps have reinforced front and rear doors with iron sheet backing to resist chewing and deformation. They clean easily with water and dry cloth, so you can reset them multiple times without rapid wear.

• Reinforced iron sheets on doors for chew resistance
• Washable wire construction for quick cleaning
• Designed for repeated catch-and-release cycles

Where and when should I use these traps at home?

Place IIWEY traps along rodent pathways, near walls, or next to known food sources where signs of activity appear. They work well indoors, in garages, sheds and around foundations; always release captured animals a suitable distance from populated areas.

• Effective in kitchens, basements, garages and sheds
• Use peanut butter or seeds as bait for better attraction
• Check frequently to reduce animal stress and reset quickly
