Idymere Stainless Steel Cat Litter Box - High-Sided Rust-Resistant Easy-Clean Tray for Kittens & Small Cats

If you’re tired of lingering litter smells, scratched plastic pans, or constant replacements, this stainless steel litter box offers a long-lasting alternative. Its high sides and non-porous metal surface minimize scatter and trapping of odors while providing roomy interior dimensions (16.93"L x 12.99"W x 5.12"H) suitable for kittens, medium cats, or multiple small-pet households. The open-top format promotes airflow and speeds drying, and the rounded edges make handling safer and more comfortable.

How does the stainless steel build benefit my home and my cat?

Stainless steel does not absorb liquids or odors like plastic, so it stays cleaner and fresher with less maintenance. Its durable metal resists corrosion and long-term wear, making it a better investment for households that want a hygienic, low-odor solution. The smooth surface prevents waste from sticking, so cleaning is quicker and more thorough.

• Non-porous steel resists staining and lingering smells
• Corrosion- and rust-resistant for long-lasting use
• Smooth interior reduces waste adhesion and simplifies scooping
• Open design improves air circulation and drying speed

Will the high sides really stop litter scatter and spills?

Yes — the elevated walls are specifically designed to keep kicked litter contained and to prevent splashes from reaching the surrounding area. That makes this tray especially helpful for active cats who dig enthusiastically or for pets that tend to urinate toward the sides. High sides also reduce the need to sweep or vacuum around the box as often.

• Raised edges contain kicked litter and reduce mess
• Sides help prevent urine from escaping the tray
• Rounded rim protects paws and makes lifting safer
• Ideal for energetic or larger small pets

How easy is it to clean and maintain this litter box?

The stainless steel tray wipes and rinses clean far more easily than textured plastic pans. Because waste doesn’t cling to the surface, you can scoop and rinse with minimal effort, and the metal dries quickly which reduces bacterial growth. This design also lessens the frequency of full litter changes compared with sticky, porous materials.

• Smooth steel surface allows quick scooping and rinsing
• Dries quickly to limit moisture-related odors
• Less frequent full litter swaps due to reduced residue buildup
• Rounded edges make handling more comfortable and safe

Can this tray work for pets other than cats and where does it fit best?

The Idymere stainless steel tray is versatile enough for small animals beyond cats — think kittens, rabbits, ferrets, and even small reptiles. It can double as a temporary bathing tub or as a tidy storage bin when not used for litter. Multiple size options mean you can pick a tray that fits your home layout while keeping your pet comfortable.

• Suitable for kittens, small rabbits, ferrets, and similar-sized pets
• Can be repurposed as a washing tub or storage container
• Available in sizes to match pet needs and space constraints
• Works well in multi-pet homes for consolidated litter areas

Who is this for? This stainless steel high-sided litter box is a practical choice for cat owners who want a durable, low-odor solution that’s easy to clean. It’s particularly useful for households with messy diggers, seniors with sensitivities to odors, multi-pet families, and anyone seeking a long-lasting alternative to plastic pans.
