Hourleey RV Inline Water Filter 2-Pack with Hose Protector — GAC+KDF, 20-Micron Sediment Reduction for Campers & Boats

Hourleey 2 Pack RV Inline Water Filter delivers cleaner-tasting water for RVs, campers, and boats by reducing chlorine, rust, sediment, fluoride traces, and common tastes and odors.

Designed for on-the-road living and marine use, this inline filter set pairs granular activated carbon (GAC) with KDF media inside a food-grade plastic housing to lower unpleasant tastes and control bacterial and mold growth when the filter is idle. Each unit is rated at 20 microns and includes a flexible hose protector that reduces kinking and stress on connections, making the filter both portable and user-friendly for seasonal camping or continuous marine use.

How does this filter improve water quality in an RV or boat?

The Hourleey inline filter uses a combination of GAC and KDF media to adsorb chlorine, reduce odors and tastes, and trap visible particles like rust and sediment. It does not require plumbing or tools — you attach it inline between a standard garden hose and your RV water inlet or faucet.

• GAC media reduces chlorine and organic tastes.
• KDF helps limit biological growth when not in use.
• 20-micron rating captures sediment and rust particles.
• Food-grade housing prevents contamination from the casing.

How easy is installation and maintenance?

Installation is tool-free: align the filter with the water-flow direction, connect the incoming hose, then attach the outlet hose to your RV, boat, or faucet. Maintenance is minimal — the filters are designed to last up to a camping season (around three months under typical use) and can be swapped out quickly.

• Push-fit connections for simple hook-up.
• Flexible hose protector reduces strain and kinks at fittings.
• Replace every 1–3 months depending on water quality and use.
• No adhesives or clamps required for normal installation.

Will this filter fit my existing hoses and fittings?

The Hourleey inline filter works with standard garden hoses and RV/marine inlet connections, making it compatible with most portable water setups. The flexible protector helps accommodate slight misalignment and reduces wear on the hose where it meets the filter.

• Compatible with standard garden-hose thread sizes and common RV fittings.
• Flexible protector eases attachment and prevents kinking.
• Compact inline design fits tight spaces near inlets or faucets.
• Clear flow-direction marking simplifies correct hookup.

How long will each filter last and what affects lifespan?

Under average recreational use, each Hourleey inline filter can remain effective for up to one camping season — roughly three months — but water quality, flow rate, and frequency of use influence actual life. Heavily sediment-laden sources or continuous high-flow use can shorten filter life, so inspect and replace sooner if flow noticeably decreases or taste returns.

• Expected life: up to 3 months under typical recreational use.
• Replace sooner with cloudy or heavily chlorinated source water.
• High flow rates or constant use reduce effective lifespan.
• Easy replacement keeps maintenance straightforward on the road.

Who is this for: The Hourleey 2 Pack RV Inline Water Filter is ideal for RV owners, boaters, campervan travelers, and anyone needing a portable, no-plumb solution for improving drinking water while traveling. It suits people who want quick, tool-free installation, reduced taste and odor, and a lightweight filter that handles seasonal use without permanent modifications to their vehicle or vessel.
