HOT SHOT Wasp & Hornet Killer 17.5 oz 12-Pack — 27 ft Jet Spray, Water-Based Outdoor Nest Control

When stinging insects set up nests near your home, yard or outdoor living spaces, you want a fast, effective way to clear them while keeping distance. This water-based aerosol delivers a long, targeted spray that soaks nests and reaches hidden openings without you needing to get close. Designed for outdoor use, the formula controls multiple pest types and is non-staining on most siding when tested first.

How does this product work at longer distances?

The can produces a focused jet that propels insecticide up to about 27 feet, letting you attack nests from a safer distance at dusk or dawn when wasps are less active. The concentrated stream penetrates nest openings and delivers enough product to kill adults on contact and treat nest interiors.

• Jet spray reaches up to 27 feet for distance control
• Water-based formula designed to soak nests and kill returning insects
• Apply at sunset for reduced insect activity and better results

Which pests does HOT SHOT Wasp & Hornet Killer target?

This aerosol is labeled for several common outdoor stinging and nuisance pests, making it a versatile option for homeowners dealing with nests or roaming insects near structures. It kills on contact and can help eliminate the nest when applied thoroughly.

• Effective against wasps, hornets and yellow jackets
• Also labeled for scorpions, mud daubers and tent caterpillars
• Controls insects at the nest and those returning in the following days

Is it safe to use on my siding and near outdoor surfaces?

HOT SHOT’s formula is non-staining to most home siding depending on surface age and cleanliness, but it’s important to test first. Spray a small, hidden area and recheck after a few hours before treating a visible surface; always follow the label directions and keep spray away from children, pets and sensitive landscaping.

• Non-staining on most siding when pre-tested
• Outdoor use only—avoid indoor or enclosed-area spraying
• Read label for specific application and safety instructions

How should I apply it to get the best nest control?

For best results, approach nests in low light when insects are least active, stand to the side or below the nest so you’re not directly underneath, and spray until the nest is thoroughly soaked. A single thorough treatment usually kills adults and treats the nest, but follow up inspections can catch any survivors.

• Apply at sunset or early morning when insects are less active
• Stand a safe distance—use the 27-foot jet to avoid close exposure
• Soak the nest and recheck over the next few days for lingering activity
