HORI USB-C Charging Play Cable for DualSense — 3m Braided USB-C to USB-C, PD 60W & Data for Play-While-Charging

HORI USB-C Charging Play Cable powers and connects your DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers so you can keep playing while charging or use them wired.

Designed and officially licensed for PlayStation 5 controllers, this HORI USB-C to USB-C cable combines a long 3‑meter braided length with a sturdy metal connector housing and USB Power Delivery support. It functions as both a charging cord and a data cable, letting the DualSense Wireless Controller or the DualSense Edge Wireless Controller operate as a wired controller while plugged in. The cable’s build focuses on durability, tangle resistance, and flexibility so you can game from the couch without tripping over short cables.

How fast will this cable charge my DualSense controller?

The cable supports USB Power Delivery up to 60W and delivers a maximum of 20V/3A when connected to a compatible PD power source. Note that the DualSense Wireless Controller itself does not accept the cable’s fastest charging rates, but the cable is forward-compatible with higher-power PD adapters for other devices.

• Rated PD capability: 60W (power negotiation with PD chargers)
• Maximum delivery from cable: 20V / 3A
• Works safely with PD chargers and adapters when managed by the device

Will this cable let me play while charging and transfer controller data?

Yes — the HORI cable is a full data-capable USB-C to USB-C cable, so your controller can function as a wired input while drawing power. That eliminates controller lag concerns tied to wireless disconnects and lets you keep playing uninterrupted during updates or long sessions.

• Data-enabled USB-C connection for wired controller use
• Seamless play while charging — no need to pause gameplay
• Compatible with both DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers

How durable and flexible is the cable for regular use?

The cable features a 9.8ft (3m) nylon-braided jacket that resists tangling and fraying, while metal connector housings protect the terminations from bending and impact. This combination is intended to withstand frequent plugging, couch-side use, and the typical stress of console gaming setups.

• 9.8ft / 3m nylon braided length for reach and reduced tangling
• Metal connector housings to improve longevity at stress points
• Flexible enough for comfortable couch-to-console use

Is this cable officially compatible with Sony PlayStation controllers?

Yes — HORI manufactures this USB-C cable under official licensing from Sony for use with PlayStation 5 DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers. It’s designed to meet the connection and data requirements these controllers expect when used wired or charging.

• Officially licensed by Sony for DualSense and DualSense Edge
• Engineered to match controller power and data needs
• Works with PD chargers but follows device power negotiation
