HongWay 6-inch 11-Gauge Galvanized Landscape Staples 240-Pack — Heavy-Duty U-Stakes for Sod & Fabric

HongWay 240-pack 6-inch galvanized landscape staples are heavy-duty U-shaped garden stakes designed to secure sod, landscape fabric, hoses, tents and decorations with rust-resistant strength. These bulk metal staples give you a ready supply of dependable ground anchors for projects around the yard, garden and job site. Each staple is formed from 11-gauge galvanized steel with a beveled end for easier penetration and a U-shape that holds materials flat without tearing. The boxed 240-count package is aimed at homeowners, landscapers and event installers who need many reliable pins for ongoing maintenance and seasonal installations.

How do these staples hold down sod, fabric and turf?

The HongWay U-staples press materials securely into soil with a wide crown and firm legs that resist bending. Their 6-inch length gives deep anchoring for uneven ground and heavier substrates while the 11-gauge wire sustains tension from wind and foot traffic. Galvanization protects the metal from surface corrosion so they perform outdoors season after season.

• 6 inch length for deeper, more secure hold in turf and loose soil
• 1.2 inch crown width to distribute pressure across landscape fabric
• 11-gauge galvanized steel resists rust and bending
• Beveled ends pierce turf and compacted topsoil smoothly

Will these stakes bend or corrode over time?

The staples are made from hard, anti-rust galvanized steel intended to withstand repeated use without easily deforming. While any metal can eventually show wear in very aggressive soils or salty environments, the zinc-coated finish delays corrosion and keeps the pins serviceable for multiple seasons. For longest life, remove and store pins between long-term installations.

• Galvanized finish reduces oxidation and surface rust
• 11-gauge thickness minimizes bending under standard loads
• Reusable design suitable for seasonal reuse and repositioning
• Store dry and clean to extend service life

What practical uses do these garden stakes support?

These versatile U-staples anchor a wide range of outdoor items—from landscape cloth and irrigation tubing to tents, pet fencing and holiday inflatables. Their shape and length make them useful for both temporary event setups and permanent landscape work. Because you get 240 pieces, the set is ideal for large projects or for keeping extras on hand for repairs.

• Secure landscape fabric, weed barrier, sod and artificial turf
• Anchor irrigation lines, drip tubing and hoses
• Pin down tarps, netting, garden edging and tent bases
• Use for seasonal decor, inflatables, and temporary fencing

How easy are these to install and adjust?

The U-shaped design plus beveled tips let the staples penetrate turf and compacted soil with minimal effort using a mallet or by hand for softer ground. The bottom width provides a stable hold but can be nudged to fit different material thicknesses and contours. Removing staples is straightforward with pliers or a small pry bar when you need to reposition or store them.

• Beveled ends reduce resistance when driving into soil
• Use a rubber mallet or hammer for firm ground installations
• Adjust width slightly to match different cover materials
• Simple removal with pliers or a pry tool for reuse

Who is this for These HongWay staples suit homeowners tackling lawn repairs, landscapers installing fabric and turf, contractors needing dependable anchors, and event decorators securing tents or seasonal displays. The 240-piece pack is especially helpful for larger yards, commercial sites, or anyone who prefers a stocked supply of durable, reusable stakes for ongoing outdoor work.
