Honeysticks 100% Pure Beeswax Crayons (12-Pack) — Chunky Toddler-Safe, Non-Toxic & Plastic-Free

Honeysticks 100% Pure Beeswax Crayons are a set of twelve chunky, all-natural crayons made in New Zealand specifically for babies and toddlers to draw, explore texture, and build early motor skills.

These crayons are handmade from natural beeswax with food-grade pigment, offering a non-toxic, plastic-free coloring option that smells faintly of honey and resists crumbling in small hands. The Originals chubby shape is engineered for little fingers: easy to grasp, difficult to snap. At 2.2 inches long and 0.8 inches in diameter, the crayons deliver bold color laydown with a smooth, low-residue finish. They are designed for children aged 1+ and are commonly used in preschools and home playrooms where durability and safety matter.

How do these crayons keep art time safe for babies and toddlers?

Honeysticks crayons prioritize ingredients and form to lower common safety concerns. They are crafted from natural beeswax rather than paraffin and use food-grade colors, minimizing chemical smells and waxy residues.

• Made in New Zealand from pure beeswax and food-grade pigments.
• No petroleum-based paraffin wax or synthetic fillers.
• Chunky, unsharpened profile reduces choking and breakage risk.
• Plastic-free packaging and materials for reduced exposure to plastics.

What makes these crayons easy for small hands to use?

The Originals have a robust, ergonomic shape chosen for toddlers learning to grip and scribble. The large diameter lets children wrap fingers around the crayon comfortably while its solid construction resists snapping when pressed.

• Chubby 0.8" diameter for tripod or whole-hand holding styles.
• 2.2" length tuned to stay visible and usable even when dropped or chewed.
• Sturdy core that preschoolers often can’t break by hand.
• Smooth wax glide for easier marks with less force required.

How vibrant and versatile are the colors for creative play?

The 12-color assortment covers primary and secondary hues, giving toddlers a wide palette to experiment with color mixing and basic drawing. Pigments are formulated for solid, even coverage so young artists see satisfying results quickly.

• Twelve bright, distinct colors to encourage experimentation.
• Good opacity on paper, cardboard, and craft surfaces.
• Colors blend gently when layered, supporting sensory play.
• Non-greasy finish minimizes smudging and transfer.

Why are these crayons considered sustainable and low-impact?

Honeysticks uses beeswax that is a by-product of honey production, which keeps the environmental footprint small while offering a naturally scented product. Packaging and product design aim to be plastic-free and long-lasting, reducing waste from broken or single-use art supplies.

• Beeswax sourced as a honey-production by-product.
• Handmade production that avoids heavy industrial processing.
• Plastic-free materials and minimal packaging waste.
• Durable shape reduces replacement frequency compared with brittle crayons.
