Home Techpro Vacuum Tech Rug Pad Grippers for Hardwood Floors — 8-Pack 3.9" Square Thin Suction Pads, No-Residue Hold

Home Techpro Vacuum Tech Rug Pad Gripper is a thin, suction-based square pad that secures area rugs to smooth hard floors without adhesive residue or surface damage.

This thin, nearly invisible gripper uses a vacuum-suction pattern to hold rugs steady on hardwood, tile, vinyl and other smooth surfaces. Each 3.9" x 3.9" square pad is designed to be placed under rug corners or edges to stop slipping, reduce curling and keep high-traffic areas safe. The set includes eight pieces—large enough to secure small- to medium-size rugs or reinforce corners on larger rugs.

How does the Vacuum Tech gripping method hold rugs in place?

The underside of each pad has many tiny suction pores. When weight or downward pressure is applied, air escapes from those pores and creates a low-pressure zone that grips the floor surface, producing a secure hold without sticky residue.

• Suction pores create temporary vacuum adhesion to smooth floors.
• Works with pressure from foot traffic or furniture to increase hold.
• No glue or permanent adhesive touches the floor, preventing marks.
• Thin profile ensures the gripper sits flat and discreet under rugs.

Will this gripper damage my hardwood or leave residue?

No. The product secures rugs by suction against the floor rather than using traditional adhesives, so it does not leave sticky residue or surface stains. When removed properly from the floor, the gripper peels away cleanly and the finish beneath remains intact.

• Suction-based contact avoids gummy residue on flooring.
• Peels off the floor without scuffing when lifted carefully.
• Ideal for finished hardwood, tile, and polished surfaces.
• Thin, low-profile design minimizes visual impact under rugs.

Are there any rugs or floors where this product won’t work?

Yes. The Vacuum Tech gripper requires a hard, smooth surface to form a vacuum seal; it does not function on carpeted floors. It also won’t adhere properly to rugs with rubber backing, jute weave, or heavy fluffy backing. Additionally, the adhesive surface cannot be peeled off the rug once applied, so placement should be planned before affixing to the rug.

• Not compatible with carpeted floors—designed for smooth hard floors only.
• Not recommended for rubber-backed, jute, or thick plush-backed rugs.
• Affix to rug with care; adhesive side cannot be removed from the rug once set.
• Best used at corners and high-traffic edges for stability.

How many pieces do I get and where can I use them around the home?

The package contains eight 3.9" x 3.9" square grippers so you can secure multiple corners or several small rugs. Their compact size and square shape increase the contact area to improve hold; they work well in kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, entryways and outdoor use on smooth patio surfaces.

• 8 pieces per pack; each pad measures 3.9" x 3.9".
• Square shape increases surface contact for stronger grip.
• Use in kitchens, bathrooms, hallways, entryways, and smooth outdoor areas.
• Helps flatten corners and reduce tripping hazards in busy spaces.
