Hollyhi Water Doodle Mat — 40×28in Reusable Water Drawing Mat for Kids with 6 Pens & Templates, Mess-Free Learning

This extra-large mat turns ordinary water into a mess-free canvas so children can practise drawing, letters and shapes without markers, paint or stains. Designed for toddlers through early elementary ages, the Hollyhi mat combines washable polyester surface, canvas backing and a kit of six magic pens, molds and templates so kids can explore letters, animals and freehand art anytime—indoors or outdoors.

How does the Hollyhi Water Doodle Mat work and erase?

Use one of the included refillable magic pens filled with plain water to trace, scribble or stamp on the mat; marks appear as darker blue and then fade as the water evaporates. There is no ink or pigment involved, so drawings disappear after several minutes depending on temperature and airflow, letting children draw repeatedly without paper waste.

• Draw with water-only pens — no stains or chemical smells.
• Automatic fade in about 3–10 minutes based on conditions.
• Reusable surface eliminates need for single-use paper.

What safety and materials does the mat use?

The drawing surface is soft polyester with a water-resistant canvas backing to protect floors and furniture from dampness. Materials are non-toxic and free of inks and solvents, making the mat suitable for small children while remaining lightweight and foldable for easy storage.

• Soft polyester top for clear water marks and quick drying.
• Canvas backing prevents leaks onto flooring.
• No paint, no ink — helps avoid allergic or irritating residues.

What comes with the set and how does it support learning?

The Hollyhi kit includes a mat, six water pens, six colorful drawing molds, two animal-shaped molds, four drawing templates and a drawing booklet. These tools guide letter practice, shape recognition and imaginative scene-building, supporting early literacy and fine motor skill development through play.

• Complete kit for solo or group play and guided activities.
• Molds and templates help children trace letters and shapes.
• Booklet offers ideas for games and progressive practice.

How portable and easy to care for is the mat?

The mat folds flat for compact storage and travels easily for indoor playdates, car trips or outdoor picnics. Because drawings use only water and the surface needs no special cleaning, maintenance is minimal—leave the mat to dry between sessions and fold it away when not in use.

• Folds small for transport and storage.
• No special cleaning required—air dry only.
• Suitable for home floors, patios and travel activities.

Who is this for: The Hollyhi Water Doodle Mat is ideal for families with children aged roughly 3–8 years who want a reusable, low-mess drawing solution that supports early writing, color and shape recognition, and cooperative play. It’s a practical gift for birthdays, holidays or classroom centers when you want an engaging creative activity without markers, paint, or constant cleanup.
