Hi‑Yield 2,4‑D Selective Weed Killer concentrate 1 gal — controls broadleaf weeds, turf-safe when used as directed

Hi‑Yield (21416) 2,4‑D Selective Weed Killer is a one‑gallon broadleaf herbicide formulated to target and control many broadleaf weeds in lawns, pastures, ditches and pond edges while leaving desirable grasses intact when used as directed.

This concentrated 2,4‑D formulation is designed for property owners, groundskeepers, and agricultural users who need an economical way to reduce unwanted broadleaf plants without disturbing turfgrasses. It works on a wide range of common weeds such as dandelion, arrowhead, buckhorn, aster and goatsbeard, and it can be applied in multiple outdoor settings when label instructions and local regulations are followed.

How quickly does this product affect weeds?

Visible symptoms typically develop within days, with full control often apparent in one to a few weeks depending on species, weather and application rate. Rain soon after treatment can dilute effectiveness, so timing matters.

• Expect leaf yellowing and wilting in days for many broadleaf species.
• Complete browning or death can take one to several weeks.
• Follow label timing and avoid mowing immediately after application for best uptake.

Where can I safely use the 2,4‑D formula?

The product is labeled for use on lawns, ponds, drainage ditches, pastures and rangelands, allowing flexible application across residential and agricultural sites. Always read the label for site‑specific restrictions and buffer zones near sensitive areas like gardens or non‑target crops.

• Approved for turfgrass areas when applied at recommended rates.
• Can be used around pond edges with attention to aquatic label directions.
• Not for use on ornamental broadleaf plants or broadleaf vegetable crops unless specified on the label.

How should I mix and apply it for best results?

Mix the concentrate with water in a sprayer according to the label’s application rates and agitation instructions. For improved contact and uptake on tough weeds, pair the herbicide with a sticker/spreader product and maintain even spray coverage.

• Measure and dilute precisely per label instructions for target weeds and area size.
• Use Hi‑Yield Spreader Sticker (31063) to enhance spray adhesion and effectiveness.
• Wear protective gear and avoid windy conditions to limit drift to non‑target plants.

Who is this for: Homeowners with large lawns, ranchers managing pastures, landscapers maintaining common areas, and municipal crews needing a selective broadleaf control option will find this 1‑gallon 2,4‑D concentrate cost‑effective and versatile. It suits users who follow label directions, take precautions to protect non‑target vegetation and want a proven active ingredient for controlling many common broadleaf weeds.
