Hayward TurboCell Salt Cell T-CELL-15 — 15-ft Cable for inground pools up to 40,000 gal, steady chlorine output

The Hayward TurboCell T-CELL-15 is a replacement salt cell that converts pool salt into a steady chlorine supply for inground pools up to 40,000 gallons.

Replace your aging or damaged salt cell with this genuine Hayward TurboCell (W3T-CELL-15) featuring a 15-foot cable and design matched to Hayward salt chlorination systems. Engineered for consistent sanitization and swimmer comfort, the T-CELL-15 pairs with popular Hayward controllers and automation platforms so your pool stays clear with less manual handling of chlorine.

How does the TurboCell T-CELL-15 keep pool water sanitized?

The TurboCell electrochemically converts dissolved salt into free chlorine, producing continuous sanitizer while minimizing odor and skin irritation associated with manual chlorine addition. It maintains a steady output that adapts to common pool usage and environmental factors when used with a compatible Hayward control unit.

• Produces chlorine from dissolved salt rather than adding liquid or tablet chlorine.
• Delivers steady output to reduce sanitizer spikes and drops.
• Designed to integrate with Hayward controllers for automatic regulation.
• NSF-certified for performance and safety standards.

What pool size and systems is this salt cell compatible with?

The T-CELL-15 is intended for inground pools up to 40,000 gallons and ships with a 15-foot cable for flexible installation. It is compatible with a wide range of Hayward salt chlorination systems and automation platforms, making it a direct swap for several models.

• Right-sized for pools up to 40,000 gallons capacity.
• Works with Hayward AquaRite, AquaRite Pro, and SwimPure Plus systems.
• Compatible with Hayward automation: AquaPlus, ProLogic, OmniHub, OmniLogic.
• Replaces original T-CELL-15 parts (W3T-CELL-15 part number).

How long does the cell last and what kind of maintenance is needed?

Longevity depends on usage, water chemistry, and run-time, but TurboCell units are built for extended life and come with a 3-year manufacturer warranty. Routine checks and occasional cleaning of the cell faceplates will help preserve output and efficiency.

• Hayward offers a 3-year warranty for the TurboCell unit.
• Periodic visual inspection and cleaning extend service life.
• Monitor salt levels and cell output via your chlorination controller.
• Replacement frequency varies with run hours and pool conditions.

Will installing this cell reduce my maintenance costs?

Using a salt cell chlorinator typically reduces the need to buy, store, and handle traditional chlorine products, which can lower ongoing expenses and simplify pool care. The TurboCell is optimized to produce efficient sanitizer levels, helping to avoid overuse of chemicals and reduce effort at the pool shed.

• Less frequent purchases of liquid or tablet chlorine.
• Consistent sanitizer output can prevent costly chemical imbalances.
• Compatible automation can reduce manual adjustments and checks.
• Designed to deliver higher chlorine output compared to some non-genuine cells.

Who is this replacement cell for? Pool owners with inground pools up to 40,000 gallons who already use—or intend to use—a Hayward salt chlorination system will benefit most from the TurboCell T-CELL-15. It suits families and operators looking for reliable, automated sanitization that reduces handling of traditional chlorine, pairs smoothly with Hayward automation, and offers a documented warranty for peace of mind.
