Hartz DuraPlay Squeaky Latex Dog Balls, Large 3-Pack — Neon Colors, Bacon-Scented, Floating

These Hartz DuraPlay large, bacon-scented latex balls are lightweight squeaky toys designed to bounce, float, and tempt dogs to play.

Designed for fetch, chew, and splashy play, the Hartz DuraPlay Ball 3-count pack delivers three neon-colored latex balls with a soft foam core, an internal squeaker, and a bacon scent that encourages dogs to stay active. The toys combine a flexible exterior with a lightweight center so they’re easy to throw, gentle on teeth, and simple to clean. Sized for larger breeds, the set includes neon green, neon pink, and neon orange balls so you can spot them in grass, water, or indoor spaces.

How will these balls hold up during tossing and fetching?

Each ball has a tougher latex shell over a compressible foam interior to resist everyday play while remaining bouncy. They’re meant for casual fetch and interactive sessions rather than heavy-duty power chewers. If your dog is an enthusiastic but not destructive player, these balls offer long-lasting amusement.

• Durable latex exterior resists abrasions from ground play
• Soft foam core keeps throws light and easy to catch
• Squeaker motivates repeated retrievals
• Not intended for sustained aggressive chewing by very strong-jawed dogs

Can these float and be used around water or ponds?

Yes — the lightweight foam interior makes the DuraPlay balls buoyant, so they float on calm water and are ideal for beach or pool fetch. Their neon colors improve visibility on the water surface, helping you and your dog track play items during outdoor sessions. Rinse after use to remove dirt or algae build-up.

• Foam center enables buoyancy for water play
• Neon colors increase visibility in water
• Simple to rinse clean with soap and water
• Avoid leaving in stagnant water between uses

What makes the bacon scent and squeaker useful for playtime?

The bacon aroma and internal squeaker are sensory triggers that prompt interest from many dogs, encouraging them to chase, bite, and bring the ball back. Scented toys can reignite attention in less active or senior dogs, while squeaks add an audible reward for successful catches. The combination supports longer interactive sessions between you and your pet.

• Bacon scent entices dogs who respond to food fragrances
• Squeaker provides immediate feedback when squeezed
• Works well to reinvigorate fetch games and training drills
• Rotate toys to preserve scent strength over time

Are these balls safe for all dog life stages and sizes?

DuraPlay balls suit many ages — puppies through seniors — thanks to their forgiving foam center and flexible latex outer layer. They’re labeled large and fit medium-to-large mouths best; smaller dogs may prefer a smaller size for easier gripping. Supervised play is recommended for any chewy or enthusiastic pet to prevent accidental ingestion of pieces.

• Appropriate for puppies, adults, and senior dogs when supervised
• Large size best for medium and large breeds
• Not a substitute for heavy-duty chew toys for aggressive chewers
• Inspect regularly for surface damage and replace if torn

Who is this for: Pet owners who want a versatile, attention-grabbing playset that floats, squeaks, and cleans easily — ideal for families who fetch in yards, pools, or at the park and need brightly colored toys to keep dogs engaged. If you need super-tough, chew-proof gear for an extreme chewer, consider reinforcing play with dedicated heavy-chew toys, but for everyday fetch, water play, and scent-driven fun, the Hartz DuraPlay large 3-pack offers a practical, budget-friendly option.
