GUND My First Purse Sensory Plush Playset — 5-Piece Pink Purse with Crinkle, Mirror & Sound

GUND's My First Purse is a five-piece plush playset that fits in an 8" soft pink purse and offers crinkle, mirror, and sound features to engage baby’s senses and fine motor skills.

This compact sensory playset gives infants multiple small toys to explore, all designed to tuck neatly into a cuddly purse for easy cleanup and portability. Each piece combines gentle textures, soft sounds, and safe details like embroidered accents or printed fabrics so babies can discover cause-and-effect, practice reaching and grasping, and enjoy independent play at home or on the go.

How does this set keep babies engaged during playtime?

The playset mixes tactile, visual, and auditory elements to maintain interest through short, repeatable interactions. Crinkle fabrics reward squeezing, the mirror supports self-discovery, and the plush phone introduces simple sounds—each encouraging repeated exploration and hand movement.

• Crinkling keys and credit card for sound and texture feedback
• Compact with a safe mirror for visual focus and recognition
• Soft cell phone toy that produces gentle sounds for auditory interest
• Small, easy-to-grasp pieces sized for infant hands

Is this playset safe and easy to clean?

The pieces are crafted with baby-safe details and durable plush fabrics that meet high manufacturing standards. Sound components are excluded from machine washing, while the majority of the plush items can be laundered to keep the set fresh and hygienic.

• Printed and embroidered finishes limit loose parts
• Machine-washable plush components (line-dry recommended)
• Appropriate for newborns and up with no small detachable hazards

How portable is the purse for travel and storage?

The 8" plush purse holds all four sensory toys so parents can quickly gather playthings for outings or clean up in seconds. Its soft construction fits in diaper bags, strollers, or nursery shelves, making it convenient for both short trips and room-to-room play.

• All toys store inside the plush pink purse for tidy transport
• Lightweight design ideal for stroller or diaper bag use
• Compact size makes at-home storage effortless

What developmental benefits does the set support?

While primarily a play resource, the set encourages early hand-eye coordination, sensory exploration, and object manipulation—skills that support later milestones. Simple cause-and-effect interactions and repeated handling help infants refine grasping and attention span.

• Promotes fine motor practice through gripping and squeezing
• Encourages sensory discrimination with varied textures and sounds
• Supports early cognitive learning via peek-and-search and mirror play
