GU Energy Original Sports Nutrition Energy Gel 24-Count Assorted — 100-Calorie Vegan, Electrolytes & BCAAs

GU Energy Original Sports Nutrition Energy Gel is a portable, 100-calorie carbohydrate gel in a 24-count assorted pack designed to provide quick, sustained energy and electrolytes for workouts and races.

These GU Energy Original gels come in an indulgent assortment of Vegan, Gluten-Free, Kosher, and Dairy-Free flavors — Vanilla Bean, Salted Caramel, Caramel Macchiato, Espresso Love, and Chocolate Outrage. Each single-serve packet supplies dual-source carbs and electrolytes in a lightweight squeeze packet that fits in pockets and race vests. With discreet caffeine levels depending on flavor and added branched-chain amino acids, the gels are formulated for repeated fueling during endurance efforts or everyday training.

How do these gels deliver energy during training or racing?

GU Energy Original uses a blend of maltodextrin and fructose to provide carbohydrate through complementary absorption routes, helping you maintain steady energy. Each packet contains about 100 calories plus electrolytes to support hydration balance while you exercise.

• 100 calories per packet for quick fueling
• Maltodextrin + fructose dual-carb system for efficient uptake
• Electrolytes to help replace salts lost in sweat
• Instructions: take one 5 minutes before activity and every ~45 minutes

Which flavors and caffeine options are included in the 24-count pack?

The variety pack includes Vanilla Bean, Salted Caramel, Caramel Macchiato, Espresso Love, and Chocolate Outrage. Caffeine content varies by flavor so you can choose a caffeinated option when you want a stimulant boost or a non-caffeinated flavor for a neutral fuel.

• Assorted indulgent flavors for taste variety during long sessions
• Caffeinated and non-caffeinated flavors to match timing and tolerance
• All flavors are Vegan, Gluten-Free, Kosher, and Dairy-Free
• Single-serve, easy-tear packets for on-the-go use

What additional nutritional features support recovery and focus?

In addition to carbohydrates and electrolytes, GU Original contains branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) to help reduce muscle breakdown and support mental focus during prolonged activity. These support elements complement the fuel to help you sustain effort with less perceived fatigue.

• Branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) included for muscle support
• Electrolytes aid in maintaining fluid balance during sweating
• Simple ingredient profile—designed to be easy on the stomach
• Portable packaging minimizes waste and hassle on the trail or road
