Griot's Garage Speed Shine quick detailer spray 35 oz — waterless, streak-free glossy finish for paint, glass, trim and wheels

Griot's Garage Speed Shine is a waterless quick-detail spray that lifts dust and light grime, leaving a streak-free, glossy finish on paint, glass, trim, wheels and protected surfaces in minutes.

When you need a fast, no-hassle refresh between full washes, Speed Shine offers a lubricated formula that loosens contaminants so you can wipe them away safely without scratching. The 35 oz spray is designed for everyday touch-ups, show prep, or keeping a daily driver looking freshly detailed. It’s compatible with clear coats, paint protection film, chrome, plastics and rubber, making it a versatile addition to any auto-care kit.

How quickly will Speed Shine restore shine to my car?

Speed Shine works immediately: mist it on and the lubricants begin loosening surface dust and light grime so a microfiber towel can glide across paint without causing marring. In routine use you can expect a visible, glossy result in about five minutes from start to finish.

• Mist on liberally across the targeted panel.
• Use a clean microfiber towel to lift dirt—no scrubbing required.
• Buff lightly for a streak-free high gloss.
• No water, bucket or hose necessary for touch-ups.

Is Speed Shine safe for all exterior surfaces on my vehicle?

The formula is engineered for broad exterior compatibility, making it safe on painted surfaces, clear coats, glass, chrome, trim, plastic, rubber and factory-applied protection films. It’s a gentle cleaner for light contamination, but heavy brake dust, tar or embedded grime should be handled with dedicated cleaners or claying first.

• Paint and clear coat: lubricated cleaning without abrasion.
• Glass and chrome: streak-free drying when buffed properly.
• Trim, plastics and rubber: restores appearance without whitening.
• Paint protection film: safe for quick maintenance touch-ups.

When should I choose Speed Shine over a full wash or specialty wheel cleaner?

Use Speed Shine for light touch-ups between washes, last-minute show polishing, or to remove fingerprints and dust after driving. For heavy contamination—mud, baked-on tar, or heavy brake dust—switch to a full wash or a wheel-specific cleaner to avoid spreading grime across surfaces.

• Perfect for between-wash maintenance and quick detailing routines.
• Ideal for show prep as a final wipe-down to maximize gloss.
• Not a replacement for deep cleaning products when soils are heavy.
• Pairs well with clay bars and synthetic clays for contaminant removal.

How do I apply Speed Shine for the best results?

Applying Speed Shine is straightforward: spray a light mist onto the panel, let the lubricants loosen dust for a second, then wipe with a plush microfiber towel and buff until the gloss appears. Work panel-by-panel in shaded or cool conditions to prevent premature drying and streaking.

• Spray a light, even mist 12–18 inches from the surface.
• Use a clean microfiber towel to gently lift contaminants.
• Flip or switch towels as they become soiled to avoid smearing.
• Finish with a dry microfiber for a high-gloss buff.

Who is this for? Griot's Garage Speed Shine is aimed at car enthusiasts, detailers and everyday drivers who want a fast, safe way to maintain showroom shine without the time or water a full wash requires. It’s especially useful for seasonal drivers, show prep, rides with protective films, and anyone who values glossy results from a simple, spray-and-wipe routine. Keep it in your garage, trunk, or detail kit for instant shine whenever your vehicle needs a quick refresh.
