Graco TurboBooster 2.0 Highback Booster Car Seat, Freya — 2-in-1 Highback to Backless, Adjustable Headrest

Comfort and ride safety were the priorities when Graco designed the TurboBooster 2.0. Built to accommodate children roughly 40–100 lbs and up to 57 inches tall, the seat offers adjustable head and arm support, integrated belt guides, and stowaway cup holders. It meets Graco's ProtectPlus engineered testing for frontal, side, rear, and rollover performance and has been evaluated under extreme interior temperature conditions.

How does the TurboBooster 2.0 adapt as my child grows?

The seat converts easily from a highback booster to a backless booster, extending usable life through several growth stages. Quick adjustments let you change head support height and armrest positions so the seat belt aligns correctly as your child gets taller.

• 2-in-1 design: highback to backless for extended use.
• Multiple headrest heights to maintain proper belt fit.
• Adjustable armrests for increasing comfort and correct belt positioning.

What safety features are included with this Graco booster?

Graco engineered the TurboBooster 2.0 with multiple safety measures and subjected it to rigorous crash tests that include varying impact scenarios and interior temperature extremes. Open-loop belt guides help route the vehicle belt correctly so the car’s lap-and-shoulder belt secures the child as intended.

• ProtectPlus engineering for frontal, side, rear, and rollover protection.
• Open-loop belt guides for consistent, easy seat-belt placement.
• Crash testing performed under extreme cabin temperature conditions.

What convenience features help on day-to-day trips?

The TurboBooster 2.0 balances safety with family-friendly conveniences. Cup holders tuck away when not in use, and its lightweight design makes switching between vehicles or repositioning in the car straightforward.

• Two hide-away cup holders for drinks or snacks without taking extra space.
• Lightweight shell for easier transfers between cars.
• Slim profile in backless mode for better rear-seat accessibility.

How simple is installation and belt routing?

Installation uses the vehicle’s lap-and-shoulder belt with clearly visible guides that promote correct routing for independent buckling. Whether used as a highback or backless booster, the design emphasizes intuitive setup to reduce common belt-placement errors.

• Open-loop guides make it easy to place the vehicle belt over the child correctly.
• Highback mode supports the belt across the shoulder; backless mode keeps belt alignment consistent.
• No extra base or latch anchors required—uses the vehicle belt system.

Who is this for: The Graco TurboBooster 2.0 in Freya is aimed at families with older toddlers and children who have outgrown forward-facing harness seats but still need a booster to position the vehicle belt properly. It suits caregivers who want a long-lasting, adaptable booster with simple adjustments, compact storage for cup holders, and a product tested to Graco's ProtectPlus standards.
