Govee Cool White LED Strip Lights 16.4ft — 6500K Dimmable, 300 LEDs

Govee Cool White LED Strip Lights 16.4ft deliver bright, adjustable 6500K illumination for cabinets, bedrooms, ceilings and accent areas with an easy-to-install adhesive strip and control box.

These Govee cool white LED strip lights combine high-density LEDs, a 12V ETL-listed power adapter, and a compact control box to provide long runs of stable, daylight-toned light. With 300 LEDs across a 16.4-foot length and six stepped brightness settings, the kit is designed to brighten task areas, create clean ambient light, or add crisp white accent lighting wherever you need it. The strip is cuttable to size, includes mounting clips for secure placement, and incorporates short-circuit protection for safer operation.

How bright are these lights and what color temperature do they provide?

These strips use 300 individual LEDs to produce a bright cool-white output at a 6500K color temperature, favoring clear, daylight-style illumination. The higher LED density improves uniformity and reduces visible hotspots compared to lower-density strips.

• 6500K cool white for clear, daylight-like clarity
• 300 LEDs across 16.4ft for even brightness
• Improved color rendering and reduced dark spots
• Useful for task lighting and accenting architectural details

How do I control brightness and install the strip?

The included control box provides six discrete brightness levels so you can step the light up or down to suit tasks or mood. Installation is tool-free: peel the backing and stick the strip to any clean, dry surface, or trim at marked cut points to fit smaller runs.

• Control box with six dimming settings for precise output
• Strong adhesive backing for quick, no-drill mounting
• Cuttable every few inches at marked points for custom length
• Ten mounting clips included for extra security on corners and ceilings

Is this LED strip safe for home use and what power setup does it need?

The kit runs at a low 12V DC voltage and ships with an ETL-listed adapter, lowering electrical risk compared with mains-voltage fixtures. Built-in short-circuit prevention helps protect the strip and adapter during normal household use.

• Low-voltage 12V system for safer handling and touchability
• ETL-listed power adapter included for certified compliance
• Short-circuit protection integrated into the strip electronics
• Low-heat LED operation suitable near cabinets and trim

Where can I use these lights and how flexible is the strip?

The 16.4-foot length and flexible PCB allow mounting in many common home locations: under cabinets, along crown molding, behind mirrors, or around closets. The strip’s pliability and included clips keep it steady on curved surfaces and edges.

• 16.4ft length covers long runs or multiple zones
• Flexible construction fits curved or angled surfaces
• Ideal for kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, closets and displays
• Trim-to-fit design supports creative placements and shorter runs

Who is this for: These Govee cool white LED strip lights are suited for DIYers, renters and homeowners who want reliable, daylight-toned illumination without complex wiring. They are a practical choice for people upgrading under-cabinet task lighting, illuminating closets or shelves, or anyone who needs a bright, dimmable white light strip that’s easy to install and safe for daily use.
