GoTo Foam Upholstery Cushion Foam 2" x 24" x 72" 43ILD Firm — CertiPUR, Made in USA

GoTo Foam 2" x 24" x 72" 43ILD is a firm, CertiPUR-certified upholstery cushion foam made in the USA, designed for durable seating and specialty shapes like oval or round poker table tops.

This high-density polyurethane foam balances firm support and long-lasting shape retention for commercial and residential upholstery projects. With a 43ILD (firm) rating and a density of 1.8 (43 lb compression), it’s engineered to perform in furniture cushions, marine and automotive seating, and custom gaming tables. The foam ships in full-size blocks so it can be cut or routed to match oval, round, or bespoke cushion patterns.

What makes this foam suitable for heavy-use seating?

The 43ILD firmness rating indicates strong resistance to indentation, helping cushions maintain profile under frequent use. Its 1.8 density gives structural integrity while limiting excessive sag, so upholstered pieces keep their intended appearance and comfort longer.

• Firm 43ILD resists bottoming out under weight
• 1.8 density supports shape retention and edge stability
• Works well with sewn covers and glued assemblies
• Engineered for repeated sit/stand cycles in commercial settings

How does the foam fit specialty projects like poker or boat cushions?

This block is sized and stable enough to be routed, laminated, or CNC-cut into oval, round, or irregular profiles. It accepts common adhesive and fabrication methods used in upholstery and marine trim shops, making it a flexible base material for custom layouts.

• Full-length 72" block for long table tops or continuous bench runs
• Easy to trim or rout into curved shapes for poker tables
• Compatible with marine-grade adhesives and coverings
• Thickness (2") suitable for low-profile seating or bolsters

Is this foam certified and safe for indoor environments?

The foam carries CertiPUR certification, meaning it meets standards for low emissions of VOCs and excludes certain prohibited substances. It’s manufactured in the USA under quality controls that help ensure consistent density and ILD performance between batches.

• CertiPUR-certified for indoor air quality considerations
• Produced in the USA to consistent dimensional and firmness specs
• Suitable for residential and commercial interior use
• Standard polyurethane compatible with common upholstery processes
